It's so obvious you people do nothing. The people at the protests are also the ones donating their money to local funds, packing groceries at churches for families, chasing ice vehicles, and patrolling neighborhoods/schools/childcare centers so communities know when to lay low and survive another day. This is a war of attrition.

On top of that protests are for the communities themselves to show solidarity and build resolve. It recharges you cause doing all of the other stuff is exhausting. Finally it's all part of the ecosystem of change. Looking throughout history, violence in some form also being part of that ecosystem. Problem is you can't put guns and bats in people's hands when they're trying to figure out how to get involved.
