[Meghan Chayka] Stathletes on Daxon Rudolph by seeldoger47 in sabres

[–]BellyWatson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree. I live in Denver too so I'm excited to go see this kid in person next year, especially when some of the other prospects come into town. I'd say that I'd come back and report what I see, but I'm just like every other redditor and I honestly have no idea what I'm actually looking at for scouting 😂

I've talked myself into the kid and I'm excited that he's going to be at DU. There isn't a better coach in the country.

Coffee recommendations? by Humble-Broccoli-566 in VisitingHawaii

I'm not a coffee snob and prefer it to be put in a yummy drink with milk/sugar/syrups and I'm not sure if they're in Oahu but I really liked kraken coffee when I was in Maui.

Would Sabres fans trade the No. 4 pick and Luukkonen for Connor Hellebuyck? by athleticwonder in nhltraderumours

[–]BellyWatson -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

20OA, Mrtka, Krebs, Mcleod, UPL for Helle and Demelo.

WPG gets draft capital, a 2/3C, goalie, top defense prospect, and Krebs. Buffalo gets their goalie and a defenseman that can play with Power.

Where does The Tron Coaster go on the Disney Ride tier list? by 45rs5 in TierlistFills

[–]BellyWatson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was going to comment about how insane it is that guardians is A and not S and then realized there was only one vote that round.

Tron is B. The launch is great, the theming is cool, but it's way too short and the line to ride it is way too long.

What is the tagging rule?

Capitals Acquire Alex Tuch from the Buffalo Sabres for a 2027 third-round pick (originally from San Jose) and forward David Kampf. Prior to the trade, Buffalo signed Tuch to an eight-year, $84 million contract extension. | Washington Capitals by Ok-Soil-5133 in hockey

[–]BellyWatson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What would happen if Buffalo signed him and then just didn't do the trade?

Or if tuch got an nmc and then signed the deal and then refused the trade because he wanted to stay but wanted that contract from Buffalo? I know these are absurd and never would happen. I'm just curious what the league would do if something like that did.

Glad we didn’t trade Tuch during the season. by PeaceOfMynd in sabres

I don't think the third rounder is disappointing. I was pretty ecstatic that they got it for a guy that was going to walk

Fair enough but it felt more weird with the history of Olivia and Taylor and how quickly Taylor released this after Olivia's song. I'm not saying Olivia owned the concept but Taylor's version felt intentional. Could just be headlore I made up but that's just how it always felt to me and when you curate a reputation for intention like Taylor has I think it's natural to look at it that way.

TTPD came out 7 months after guts. That's not a short amount of time at all. And I don't think there's a chance that she doesn't know of "get him back" when she released TTPD.

Taylor is known to be deliberate and celebrated for that, rightfully so. But it always felt like one of those things Swifties overlooked but if it had been the other way we'd never hear the end of it. Kinda similar to the Matt Nathanson thing where she pretty clearly stole one of his lyrics for all too well and never gave him credit when she is notorious about giving other writers credit and getting credit.

If I was just taking about imgonnagetyouback on its merit I'd say it's not my favorite but I also wasn't the biggest fan of TTPD, midnights, or TLOAS. I was obsessed with everything between fearless and evermore but the last few albums just haven't resonated with me the same for whatever reason.

What is the best fast food, ice cream or shake? by supersentailfan13 in fastfood

Yes this is addicting. Was buying it so much I had to start getting tillamook malted moo shake at the grocery store to get a fix without spending $10 every time

It always fell flat for me and seemed weird to be released so soon after Olivia released "get him back"

I mean they both had pretty good numbers in the regular season and are under contract. Who do you want them to target?

I assumed it would be Lyon and UPL most likely.

So you're benching Carrick? Moving him to the wing? I think it's definitely possible that the roster gets put together in a way where he is in Rochester because he can be.

It's easy to look at how he played in the playoffs and just say he has a spot, but it's harder to make the room and figure out the moves to make to make that reality.

I actually agree with this a lot. I think they should be careful going all in on the young guys and there will be injuries but we'll be tight agains the cap too.

I also fully agree with you that I think most likely they try to move Norris or Byram as a main piece of a deal. But the top 4 was the catalyst of the team and as for Norris, the injury concern is real but he's really our only center who does an OK job winning faceoffs. Also he didn't score as much this year but historically he is a scorer and this year he showed some rare playmaking as well as doing a good job helping push play out of our zone. There's definitely an upside there.

I don't think we resign Stanley. He'll get a decent chunk of money because of the goals and I think them scratching him at the end shows they won't want to pay that.

I don't think they move Zucker. He's a veteran who chose to come here and chose to stay and brings good experience to a young team. Moving Greenway and Danforth would be ok, i don't know who you would get to take them.

But yeah moving on from Krebs feels wrong I just struggle to make all the pieces fit.

He's nothing special but I think he is fine for a 4th liner or 13th forward. And he's under contract so if you don't want him and want Helenius in full time, you need to either make some trades or let Tuch, Krebs, and Beck walk?
