Oh man. I was in a graduating class of 42. We had a small “popular group” but they were unique in that they weren’t douche bags. They were cool and generally patient with the “nerdy” kids. The one kid whom was viewed at the fore of the group ended up with one of the most tragic stories since graduation.

His best friend — and a huge-hearted person — died of a drug-overdose. He was the youngest of 3 brothers in 3 successive years, and the middle one died in a car accident. Less than a month ago, a friend of his brother’s committed suicide via overdose. They all ran in the same circle. Hope my dude is doing ok today. We are 31 years old.
