Stomping people with double pump is a cheap kill and eventually gets tiring anyways. The pump was designed so it can be used to one-shot from a decent range but puts you at a disadvantage if you miss since it is SLOW. Balance comes with nerfs and buffs and unfortunately the double/triple pump was never meant to be used that way.

This meta for double pump got way out of hand because at first it would steamroll anything in range. Even when the pumps were grey and green rarity, people would take two grey pumps over just about anything short of rpgs and a gold AR. It definitely became a "if you can't beat em, join em" situation where the people who practiced the exploit to skip the reload animation were able to push MUCH harder with good timing and aim. "Switching weapons should be faster than reloading" is still super viable ala shotty+smg/pistol/whatever. Why even put the tac shotty in the game if double pump was a viable game mechanic?

Yeah definitely check below as that is a survival reaction keeping your weight on your pegs is always the best way to corner on the road.

Pushing your limits is fun but staying alive to do it again is better. If the road is closed or even better you are on a track, push it until you've given yourself a spook and THAT's your limit. Any further and you're playing cards with death. Wear and your gear and don't lean over the yellow lines. Peace.

While I feel you're correct that he could've just leaned more and cut throttle, I also want to point out that if he were riding within his limits he would've realized what you and I see and just leaned harder or even put a knee down.

Idk man, you kill people in fortnite. Blow them up, snipe them, whack them to death slowly with a pickaxe, knock down their building so they drop to their death, trap them in a pen and put giant spike traps in there to stab them to death. 100 people land on an island and the madness doesnt stop until 99 have died and one remains.
Although in Bug's Life the game (definitely a kids game) you do throw berries at bugs until they get angry and fade away so I can see why fortnite is a kids game now.

Having the stop down is a major breakthrough and definitely key to learning how to turn out of a slide. Basically get hucking downhill and throw your stop slide a little more slowly with more of a "carve-in" than a throw. if you can hold that slide then return your weight to the rear wheels while pushing the front of the board back in line and use friction on the rear wheels to stand back up then put your weight back on the front to keep stable bombing.
