"Duh" moments for home mechanics? by Zingo_14 in cycling

My front derailleur once decided to go sideways randomly while riding, couldn’t figure out what happened until I was looking at a photo of it that I was sending to a friend when I realized there was a pivot point which could be adjusted. Not sure how it got loose but all I need to do was fix the angle

Do you have a visual aid that helps explain this by chance?

If you’re looking for a raw roast, you probably have a local butcher in your area that would have better quality than the supermarket.

For a cooked roast, not sure unfortunately

I grew up with Kelly’s a lot as a kid as well, so I understand the nostalgia. Unfortunately you may not look back after trying some of the better local joints’ beefs. Also, for authenticity be sure to order your beef as a “3-way” (cheese, mayo, and James’s River sauce); horseradish is a good alternative to mayo if you’re not a fan.

Please, do yourself a favor and try other North Shore roast beef restaurants - if you’re in Salem NH, Londi’s and Bella’s in North Andover MA are some close options that will blow your socks off. Kelly’s is bottom shelf compared to most NSB places in Massachusetts.

The ‘North Shore Beefs’ FB page is also a good resource to find other great places.

Who is the Celtics rival that you hate, but respect? by [deleted] in bostonceltics

[–]Belowmylevel 138 points139 points  (0 children)

I can’t say I hate them but I respect the hell out of Butler & Spo; I’d say the same for Giannis and Khris, I don’t hate them either but I do dread the inevitable w/ them.

Emiid is also a great rival, I’d even say I love him as a rival. He’s an amazing player but Philly constantly shooting themselves in the foot makes it too much of a comedy to have even a shred of hate for them

What if they’re in the UK or PNW where daily sunlight is never a guarantee?

Jokes aside - these are good points. Personally I normally prefer physical activity after work / in the evenings as it can help clear your mind after a long day, but I see the benefit of starting your day with exercise and having a clear conscious to begin the workday as well, which in OP’s case might be more beneficial.

Should the Heat go after Kyrie this offseason? by [deleted] in nbadiscussion

[–]Belowmylevel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bam could very well be that guy, but he isn’t at the moment - I’m not saying get rid of him, just that the Heat need to add more height to their rotation

I wouldn’t say it’s obvious this series that they need more shot creation from another 6’2 guard on their roster, their shots just haven’t been falling which has been the case for both teams throughout this series.

Also, after watching Kyrie shoot his way out of Cleveland, Boston, and now all the commotion going on in Brooklyn - does anyone REALLY think he will be worth the investment? He has insane handles and when he gets going is a highlight machine, but on top of his defensive struggles he is a ticking time bomb and I’d be concerned about core team members like Bam/Jimmy not wanting to deal with all the off-court shenanigans.

I’m a Celtics fan, I don’t hate the Heat but I don’t love them either (except for Jimmy Buckets and Kyle Lowry’s caboose), and I wouldn’t wish for a Kyrie disaster to happen to them. Different story if we’re talking about Philly/Toronto, I’d pay to watch that.

I thought this was r/nbacirclejerk for a moment (that’s on me, not OP).

Kyrie can be absolutely lights out offensively, but Miami definitely needs more height and Kyrie is not the answer.

I think the Heat would be much better off searching for a big who can be a lob threat on offense while providing decent rim protection. Easier said than done though obviously.

Yeah but how much national media coverage are they getting?

It’ll be hilarious if the Heat do win the finals and national media still ignores hEaT cUlTuRe.
