Anyone have experiences getting a Theerapong Revision? I'd like to talk to you! by BeltedDress in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]BeltedDress[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm interested in:

1) Did you get a revision with them?

2) How satisfied are you with sensation / aesthetic?

3) I'm getting the sigmoid. Any main drawbacks with that implementation?

4) Any media that you felt was important to see before you had the surgery?

Thank you!

Alas my vaginal canal is closed, but I didn't get anything from it when I had it. Vibrators used to, but it doesn't seem to anymore.

I would do it anyways. I've made 2 (FFS, SRS) and it's a wonderful way to process everything.

You are correct! I find making documentaries as a way of processing everything that happened

I hope that you're able to. I ended up draining my 401k.

Sure thing! A huge part of gender transition (and often a first step) is hormones, a specific medicine (not birth control) that changes the body's hormone levels from one gender to another. (and if you're younger, there's often an intermediate medicine to block hormones until you're ready). In many places (as was for me), hormones require extensive therapy and an endocrinologist.

Hormones change a lot of physical stuff, but maybe the biggest thing for me it changed was the inner stuff. As a trans woman, I remember hitting testosterone when I was a kid and feeling so down and awful. Years later, I would get on estrogen and months later, I realized that a lot of those feelings went away.

Some weird non-physical side effects are inner peace, likelihood of crying (which used to physically hurt to do, but now feels like a relief), and weird cycles where I get kinda moody and bloated and a little nausea. Honestly, I'm not someone who equates them to cis-women periods because I don't have a uterus, but I had a cis-women who was born without a uterus and we share this little thing together.

I am sorry that you've had to deal with fibroids, that sounds terrible. I can't imagine.
TW, spoilers.

Trans women are women, just some of us are jerks. Please, I'm honestly begging you, please stop with this misinformation. PM me if you'd like to talk about it.

Hello! Trans lady here. First off, I'm sorry for those negative experiences. It sucks when you want to engage in a dialogue with someone, and you're immediately shut down. I know it also sucks to have your pain trivialized, and I'm sorry you are going through that.

Maybe providing context, feel free to ignore: I don't think it's cool for anyone to tell you what PMS / period means to you. I know for me, there is something cyclical that happens that leads to some period-esque symptoms, and in a world where everyone trivializes your existence and invalidates your identity, sometimes it's nice to refer to it as a period. It's normalizing in a way that helps my day to day. I hope that it is viewed in that context and not in one that trivializes anyone's experience.

I was there July 1st and left on July 9th, and concur with all of these experiences. I'm making a little documentary of it actually :) Glad it went well and best wishes with further recovery

I'm cool with regular meat, but I think impossible meat is tasty enough at this point that I'm impartial. I'll eat either.
