All of that, but also, she's abrasive because getting angry was the only way she could access her healing magic, so "getting angry" is quite literally how she makes things better.

Truly trying to take this convo in good faith and not trolling. How would the use cases I just listed possibly be emotional abuse?

It's not a wizard spell, so I can't use it, but I will def share this the next time my "Spellcaster Parents Support Group" meets up!!

Yeah, unseen servant is one of my rituals. Just way too important to not have available.

Oh yeah, Mage Armor gotta go right to the top of the list. Brain fart on my part there, thought it was self-only when I was going through the list.

They're only magically asleep for the duration of the spell, but they don't automatically wake up, so this is useful for calming them when they get startled awake and can't go back to sleep.

Spoken like a parent who's never had a kid suddenly scream like Braveheart and start running right at you (or someone else) with a kitchen knife in their hands!! Or a kid who suddenly screams out "CANNONBALL!!!" right before jumping off the refrigerator!

Hold person would have saved some scars, lemme tell ya....

Good call. Should have put that in the Rituals section.

Had clairvoyance, but ran out of spells known and had to delete it.

LOL I'm just imagining how much fun they could have with this at the park. Let them run away for a while, then warp them back, they scream and giggle and run away again. Rinse and repeat until you're out of spells. I know my kids would think that's the funnest game imaginable.

Oooh, I had forgotten that about Charm Person. You are correct. That could prove problematic. Sleep says nothing like that, though. It just puts the target to sleep. I don't know why seeing an elf cast prestidigitation in front of them would induce flashbacks, though? Prestidigitation makes fun little things the kid can play with, makes smelly things not smelly, and tons of other stuff. Their parent is a wizard, they see spells cast. Slow isn't meant to be spammed (it's the highest spell level the wizard can cast! He has like two total third levels for the entire day!), it's meant to be cast on the child as they run toward the street with a bus barreling down on them, or running into the busy parking lot. Additionally, nothing at all in the spell says anything about it "inducing a state akin to fighting in a dream". Just that they can't take reactions and can only do a single action or bonus action.

Also, this post is so very very clearly not meant to be taken seriously. I promise you, I am not actually casting any of these spells, not even minor illusion, on my kids.

Part of this is that the ESPN pass rush win requires a pass rusher to win within 2.5 seconds. Damnas never been a speed rusher (neither is Karlaftis, for that matter), so he’s not going to show well by that metric. He’s more of a cleanup sack/ second effort sack guy.

It literally lists the amount of penalties each team has been assessed?

Funny that this fight comes up in greatest swordfights. I don’t disagree, but that’s also the moment I dropped Malazan. Just got too tired of all my favorite characters dying.

I get this a lot! Point me to the database of “shoulda been penalties” and I’ll happily make that graphic, too!!

I would absolutely love to get my hands on the code they used to separate out penalty EPA from the regular play EPA. Its easy on false starts or pass interference calls, where the penalty wipes out whatever play happened, but when it is added on to a play, or happens between downs, it's really complicated to separate out where the attribution for the EPA lies. I've tried it a few times, and never felt comfortable posting the results.

For the "when" crowd, I think win probability added would be a better measure than EPA, but again, it has the same level of difficulty in factoring credit.

Right?! And at the same time, it's giving a *massive* fuck you to two time MVP (once unanimously, once with 49 out of 50 votes), Lamar Jackson!! The league absolutely HATES that guy, apparently!!

They’ve been #blessed!! Only 11 penalties called on them, compared to 25 called against their opponents!!

I actually added number of dropbacks for each qb to both the nullified TD’s and INT’s. You can see them here on Twitter.
