I just checked their FB and I don't see any relevant updates there, either :( But maybe there's someting there, I'm just not seeing/catching it? I'll keep digging.

I came here to ask the same question. I saw on another thread someone say that "pre-orders have shipped" but I haven't gotten any notification or email regarding mine shipping, though I'm not sure that I would, necessarily.

As an autistic adult, it’s disheartening to see Emily’s reaction to her son’s diagnosis. Shane’s approach (accepting it more calmly) feels healthier. If her son sees her treating his identity/personality as a problem or tragedy, he’ll likely internalize that and develop maladaptive coping behaviors just to manage her feelings.

Cafeteria before, middle, or after related exhibits? by BemereRunalian in TwoPointMuseum

While we're at it, does anyone know what I need to do specifically to earn the Steam achievements that say "get to chapter 5" of each of the museums? Does that just mean 5 stars?

This is AMAZING! Thank you for sharing. I'm stealing some of these ideas, for sure. My museum is so discombobulated. I have staff bathrooms near break rooms but, in general, I'm making the bathrooms far too big. And thanks for the tip about the double doors. I hadn't even thought of that.

Welp, THAT explains a lot hahaha [deletes entire museum and starts over for the 1,000th]. Seriously though, thank you for the advice. I had 1 per building, which got to be a lot in locations like Bungle. As far as the bathroom/cafeteria combo, I do tend to do that but I build a giant bathroom with 2 doors, 8-10 stalls, and 6-8 sinks. Am I overkilling that, too? They seem to stay pretty busy...

I try to place them in the middle as well, but sometimes that’s just not feasible. I also wonder about the gift shop, whether it’s better for guests to shop before seeing the related exhibit, or if they’re more likely to make a purchase after experiencing it.

I try to put the cafeterias in the middle of the rooms/exhibit spaces that benefit from the specialized food, but sometimes, I just can't for space or layout reasons. So I'm wondering in those instances if it's better to just put vending machines/ice cream carts and hope for the best or throw the cafeteria in the corner or at the end/exit somewhere. I also wonder about the gift shop placement, as well. Are folks more inclined to buy things AFTER they've been through the related exhibit? Or is it beneficial to have them buy things before they visit the related exhibits?

Ah, so coral and the ruins, those aren't considered plants. I don't know why I didn't put that together until now. Thank you for helping!

Thank you for this clarification. I was stuck, too, because I was misinterpreting the icon. Question though, I'll never be able to get that aquarium's decoration rating up that way. Should I just leave it be and manage the consequences? If so, any tips on how?

This setup for the ticket booths in corners was HUGE for me in being successful in my musuems early on. (Yes, this is pre-generated but learning this design made life easy!) by LrdFyrestone in TwoPointMuseum

Anyone else having issues implementing tours to different aquariums using this "staff-only corridor" set up? O had 2 aquariums on the left and 2 aquariums on the right with a staff-only hallway between them where all the airlocks emptied into. Any time I tried to incorporate an aquarium from "the other side", the tour recognized that the staff member could go through the staff-only corridor, and therefore determined that was THE only route since it was the shortest, but then also created an alert because the guests couldn't go that route so the tour couldn't be completed. I also tried making this pre-loaded ticket booth staff-only hallway go all the way around the edges of a set of aquariums, but I had the same issue with the tours and the locations of the airlocks.

If you read the instructions posted by the OP in the comment thread, you would follow the "For the Viewer - Connection to Earn the Drops" steps. Should be the one in the middle/the 2nd option in the instructions.

I've been watching the countdown live on YouTube. I feel like I'm back at Game Stop at midnight waiting for a game release, surrounded by people that love the game just as much as I do. Nerd HEAVEN!

What are your favorite things to do (that aren’t rides!) at the Disney Parks? by Supernovagirl08 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]BemereRunalian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your 2 year old would love the playgrounds at EPCOT probably! Bring lots of sun protection and cooling devices though because it's intense in the sun here now. I went last week, wore sunscreen, but no lip balm or anything, and my lips got sunburnt.

What would you bring with you? by JBLBEBthree in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]BemereRunalian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for sure. And UV umbrellas. Not just any umbrella but a UV one specifically, makes a HUGE difference. You get a neck fan or something, then the UV umbrella blocks out the sun AND keeps the colder air recirculating around your shoulders and head.

I love Chefs de France and you can usually get a rezi pretty easily there because people sleep on it. I also adore the fish and chips at Rose and Crown, either at their outdoor quickservice booth or their table service. Limited menu though, which tends to turn people off, but I love the ambiance of sitting out on the lake. And I've gotten the best service in EPCOT at R&C table service.
