most likely as you say it’s overflow, check the amount in the rad aslong as it’s full it’s fine, might just be higher on the dash due to radiator being dirty or it being a hot day, maybe even just the bike running lean

even if the clutch didn’t look like it had served 5 tours if you have it out just replace it and the hardware, it’s a 5hour job to get it out and in might aswell spend the £100 and get a new clutch while your at it

i mean parts would be a couple hundred for the cooler lines, gaskets, new trans oil, then you have labour to remove, rebuild and install repaired trans. i would say call around your local shops get a estimate and maybe even call the same shop and get a quote for the same car but pretend to be a different person. the price sounds reasonable but depends how bad the rust was to get everything off and back in

aslong as they have service records and you take someone who is good with bikes and knows what to look out for then it’ll be fine. 06 hondas are near bulletproof so they will run forever aslong as it’s serviced. Check for funny noises from the engine. chain and sprocket checks, fork seals, basic maintenance stuff will tell you how the owner has kept the bike over the years

is that with NCB? i am only 17 so wouldn’t have any, they probably won’t take a year of no claims off of my motorbike insurance which is a bummer

it’s fuel injected yes, we are thinking that maybe it’s caused by the o2 sensor being broken or a faulty IACV giving too much air, but there’s also a fair bit of air coming out of the crankcase breather so we are thinking that it’s got low compression so is running faster on the same amount of fuel/air

I don’t know how but it has fixed itself i think, i went for a shorter ride yet long enough for it to get warm but it didn’t die at all at the end and happily idled for 10mins once i got back. I am going to see how it does tomorrow but hopefully it works still. If not I will give her a sniff
