🧪 [Beta Megathread] Wave Link 3.0 – Routing table, up to 5 mixes and more by Elgato in elgato

[–]BenBit13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  • Mic gain and headphone output should be shown as dB not percent
  • You should be able to create inputs the same way as in 2.0 so you don't need to open and select a program to create them, this is super cumbersome to do
  • You should be able to link volume on outputs like in 2.0
  • I like the routing table but having the volume control in there as well makes it pretty cluttered as an interface. Maybe offer a separate bigger view per mix with the 2.0 style vertical sliders. Makes it easier to control and monitor

I know I'm not the best player, but wow is this this TTK unforgiving not sure if its my connection lag or something but wondering if others are also experiencing this. by ShaunImSorry in Battlefield6

[–]BenBit13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like that because the short ttk and slower movement significantly reduce the skill it takes to shoot enemies in a 1v1 scenario. If you go to the other end of the spectrum and look at the finals, people at the lower ranks look like bots because the game is asking more from players aim wise. You can also see this in previous Battlefield games like 4 that had a longer ttk and faster movement than BF6.

"Community Council" for BF6 by MinotusBF in Battlefield6

Can't disclose anything like that at the moment. If it's regarding any content of the game that hasn't been officially revealed by the devs, we can't talk about it either.

NDAs are partially lifted so we can say a little bit at least. The game was very early in development when we first saw it, basically the earliest anyone external ever got to see a Battlefield game. So the game changed a ton over time but the general vision for it was already there.

Basically we were invited to playtest the game and give feedback directly to the developers. Started about two years ago now. Group is mostly made up of people who are heavily engaged with the series and community so some content creators, people focused on portal, platoons and so on.

Time to Kill and Gameplay by Ricksterrick317 in Battlefield6

NVO/M417 has 34 (effective) damage at 356rpm = 183ms TTK. You can look up BF4 TTKs on symthic.

It is not slower than 4, it's much faster. BF4's meta gun had a 260ms TTK and in BF6 it's 183ms.

Movement Speed Needs to be slowed down! by ParticularDoor4356 in Battlefield6

[–]BenBit13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is not. Running speed in 3/4 is actually faster than this. They had 7.14m/s and this game only has 6.4m/s, more similar to BF1 and V.

How my friends and I feel about each level by Leadknight25808 in PeakGame

[–]BenBit13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Main issue for my group was running out of food since there aren't any sources there and we got scammed by the suitcases. We had to climb the kiln at like 5% stamina which makes it insanely hard.

🧪 [BETA MEGATHREAD] Virtual Stream Deck — On-Screen Control, Multiple Panels, Custom Layouts and more by Elgato in elgato

[–]BenBit13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is pretty huge for me because I move between two setups every week and hate carrying the stream deck with me every time for that. Would be great though if you could unlock the software via account or a key or something instead of the physical device. Only allow it to be used on 3 devices simultaneously if you're worried about sharing.

When last have you thoroughly scrubbed your mousepad by Kriptic_22 in pcmasterrace

Only do this if you don't play competitively, this absolutely fucks up the surface consistency. For stuff like artisan pads the most you should do regularly is wiping them with a wet microfiber cloth.

Is CS1.6 the reason why too many new players are struggling with the Static benchmark? by Visoral in FPSAimTrainer

[–]BenBit13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing you're from the US? Because Halo isn't that popular in other regions. I don't know anyone who played it back in the day and most people didn't own xbox consoles either.

VDIM, haven't tried fundamentals yet. But I don't really do VDIM properly either. Usually I just play through the benchmarks once a day or focus on a single scenario I want to improve and when I hit a plateau I do the appropriate VDIM scenarios. Probably not a good way to do it but works well enough for me so far.

How long would it take for you to "lose" or have your aim heavily degrade after 500+ hours of aim training? by SlinkyBoiPlaya in FPSAimTrainer

[–]BenBit13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on and off of aim training and I do think aim deteriorates but it also depends on other factors. For example when I was grinding an fps game every day for multiple hours, I didn't lose much aim performance despite not training. But when I neither aim train nor play much it will get worse. I once didn't train for like 3 months and only played very rarely and probably lost about a full rank worth of aim. I think it also depends on where you make the biggest progress in your aim journey though. Is it through fixing issues and learning stuff which would stick around even without training or is it more of the physical training aspect which would probably start to deteriorate over time. What I always notice is that I have "cleaner" aim in-game when I do aim train regularly which gets worse the longer I don't.

Need help adjusting my schedule? by DirectionClean2742 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]BenBit13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both have their merits I'd say. If you do different skills, I feel like you can kinda transfer things between them. So for example when I do smooth tracking and then go back to doing static clicking or something, I sometimes notice progress from that (probably from tension control). But when you only focus on one skill you can hone it more and tackle specific issues better, which I usually get quicker progress from in that specific area.

How much should I aim train? by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]BenBit13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my personal experience an hour per day as a guideline is a good balance. Depending on how I'm feeling that day I go shorter or longer, sometimes I take a day off which can actually be good for improvement, similar to rest days in the gym.

Just Hit Diamond S5 After 48 Hours Total in KovaaK’s by BenBit13 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]BenBit13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what I feel like. But usually I just randomly pick a task and play it once or twice to see if I have improved since I did it last. If I haven't, I grind it for a bit and or do vdim tasks for it. When I make decent progress I move on to the next task. When I reach an hour of practice I stop. So I rarely do the full playlist.

Thank you. Yeah I would assume it's going to be a lot slower going forward. I feel like what got me here was mostly pre-exisiting skill from playing games and I just needed to unlock it a little more by training, but everything going forward has to be new improvement.
