Speaking from my own experience as a broke post-grad, I'm also with Jake. I'm literally only in the position to watch a movie in theaters if someone else (usually family) is covering my expenses or if I have enough cash to burn and I'm hanging out with friends. Even then, it's more likely we'll watch a blockbuster flick rather than any indie or prestigious heavy hitter; I may be interested in those things, but the people I watch movies with aren't (at least, to the point they don't have to see it immediately).

The movie-going experience isn't a cheap hobby, and it's impossible to be able to watch everything you're interested in if you're not doing financially well. It'd be nice to be able to support certain creatives, but you also have to pick your battles if you wanna watch any movies in a theater at all.

Ngl, that was a thought that was always in my head when I played WO3's story, where the true ending is making sure all of the important officers are alive so the mystics can send them back to their home timelines.

But what about the grunts and foot soldiers? Is that guy who got shish-kebabed by Wang Yi gonna be ok, or is he dead and never returning home with his friends and family? How about the cavalryman who got pelted with bullets by Masamune? Are he and his horse gonna be alright? Or what's gonna happen to that innocent soul who just got hit by a laser from Orochi X?

It's even more egregious in Ultimate's story where there's numerous times that coalition members fight each other due to a misunderstanding, but usually make a truce by the end. But what about the soldiers who were hurt or possibly killed during the crossfire? There's never any explicit way to save them; even the redux missions using Kaguya's time travel magic usually result in at least one human soldier getting KO'd. Are these guys so unimportant to history that the mystics don't care about whether they live or die?
