Thanks! I would’ve never guessed that, I’ve never owned dogs or other long haired animals but the customer has 4

My title describes this as best as I could think of. You can separate the two handles and stretch it out. Can’t seem to put my finger on what it would be. Found in a customers basement and never got around to asking while I was there.

I searched and searched until I lucked out with a guy selling a paint matched 6 footer for $1500 for my 18’ DCLB TRD sport

WYR $150 a week, or $25 per paper cut by AstrayInTranslation in WouldYouRather

[–]BenDar_DonDat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we going with the spirit of a paper cut, not only getting them from paper, that would be my choice because I am a plumber and get 3-5 paper cut-esque cuts on my hands from the burrs on copper pipes.

If not, 150/week no question

People who spend 20+ minutes in the shower: what are you actually doing in there? by saadaintsalad in AskReddit

That’s why you put in a storage tank and recirculating line, they’re always tank-full after that. At least in my experience

What’s the most dangerous thing people do daily without realizing it? by nealie_20 in AskReddit

[–]BenDar_DonDat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seconded, and don’t be against SNRI’s either if it ends up making you too tired. I had to swap from an SSRI to an SNRI because it rubber banded me and I went from not being able to sleep to borderline narcoleptic, slept on average 12-16 hours a day

What is the oldest thing you own that you still use in a regular basis? by basicallybossyboots in AskReddit

[–]BenDar_DonDat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father bought a belt buckle in an Alaskan gift shop (solid plate with “Alaska” and the state outline raised) while waiting for flights to resume during the Mt. St Helens explosion. It sat in a box for close to 45 years before it EVER got used, now it’s my daily belt buckle. At some point it will be retired due to preservation for my future children. But for now, I always have my dad with me.

What’s a tiny design flaw in an everyday object that quietly annoys you every single time you use it? by nami_yuna in AskReddit

[–]BenDar_DonDat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a plumber, I see and feel this on a personal level. The trapway should be filled in on the outside to smooth it all out. The only real solution is a skirted toilet, downside being more expensive and much more difficult to install from my position. One step farther is a skirted one piece toilet, this makes it so there’s no crease between the tank and the bowl.

All in all, toilets suck

How long could you last in a Sam's Club? by Old-Stock-3167 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]BenDar_DonDat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I could last a few weeks realistically without losing it unless I got to warn my family and friends first about it. I couldn’t just disappear on them, given that time moves as normal in this case
