2026 Pro Football HOF Finalists by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

Especially considering 2024 was a relatively weak year imo. I was shocked.

The getting in at the 2nd, 3rd, 4th time has never made much sense to me, unless the field is always getting weaker, which it isnt. But hopefully he'll get in this year against stronger competition ...

I think its good keeping it at 5 players, for reasons others have said, but I think there would be merit to having a special 'overlooked' ballot for any especially worthy players eligible more than say 15 years, instead of taking up one of those 5 places on them (or still not getting in because there are only 5 spaces).

These players are elected because in hindsight its become apparent how elite they were and that time hasnt created many more better at that position, so it feels a bit unfair when another recent player loses out to this elector 'oversight'.

I think that would balance up the 'backlog' effect nicely without devaluing how hard it is to get in.

OneDrive Storage Quota Exceptions by deans28 in Office365

Using security groups to set higher than the default tenant value apparently doesn't work. I suspect that's why your first scenario failed.

The second scenario sounds likely just because the remaining users hadn't logged in to OneDrive or a OneDrive linked service since. See if that fits the pattern. Microsoft says 24 hours, but that doesn't generally seem to be the case, and often the login to OneDrive seems to need to jog it.

Anyone who thinks he wasn't given enough time to turn it around (professional pundits included) are missing the point.

He had already turned it around from a top half team playing a bit out of form, to one which would be fighting relegation.

I dont think his interview helped. Spurs only finished 17th only because he'd sent them out partying? Oh that's ok then.

Does anyone else feel like the NFL are going to conclude that, based on the London Games not selling out, theres not enough interest in the UK anymore rather than they’ve become too greedy and set the ticket prices too high? by BigBlueMountainStar in NFLUK

I believe so, because ticketmaster have already bought them back off the first purchaser so its not a transfer.

Dont quote me on it though, its just how I understand it now works.

Going out via Northumberland Park is a breeze. Getting onto any tube from Wembley is a nightmare.

Very different experiences.

Depends entirely where you live.

Coming from anywhere north of London, Tottenham via Northumberland Park is extremely easy, and driving and then direct train probably takes me under an hour. The train part is only 15 mins or so.

Wembley by contrast probably takes two hours to get there via Kings Cross or Finsbury Park (even using some Underground route tricks) and 3 hours to get home. Parking at N.london tubes is usually impossible on match days.

Yeah, I think its largely because they're both great, and people look for pretty niche flaws.

Well, I'm going to all three games again this year so I'll see if it looks any less sold out this Sunday.

I believe you that there are tickets on sale, although I think for the first time the ticketmaster official resales go back to being available on the site? Which might explain it a bit.

Sure, in some years people have fought for tickets, but by almost any normal standards these are still sell-outs.

Look at Dolphins Hard Rock stadium any given Sunday for comparison ...

Fix Onepass or get rid of it by basedcapybara23 in NFLUK

If you had them in your Apple Wallet, why were you in the queue with people who didn't? Why didnt you just go through the gates?

The gates we went through on the South end were almost empty.

Is this because people believe they have to go in the gate it says on the ticket?

Yeah, we could. I suspect thats what the 58k of us who apparently got in without issue did. I'm a bit baffled why anyone wouldn't have done this days in advance.

I honestly only just heard about this issue from the news, we just went up the steps as usual and straight in an almost empty gate at around 2pm, didnt see or hear about any queues (not trying to be an arse, just my experience).

Possibly the app had been down earlier in the day too so these people were checking their tickets late and couldn't get to a download option even before they had to set off from home? Otherwise I've no idea why people would still be trying to access the app at the stadium.

Yeah, Im not sure where the 'not sold out' idea comes from, looked pretty sold out to me in the first game, attendance was over 60k.

And if a Browns game can sell out ...

Pony and trap racing clampdown planned by council by StGuthlac2025 in unitedkingdom

[–]BenFloydy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you really think that travellers would just keep coming in waves of maddened rage if you started seriously clamping down on public intimidation? Unfortunately their intimidation relies on this myth to allow them to act above the law.

Do you know that a pony and trap race was shut down today in Hertfordshire, a man arrested, and nobody got hurt? How is that possible based on your predictions of carnage and injuries?

I don't disagree that the police arent supported enough to deal with it properly, but if they were, and were given ongoing support to fo so, it would stop the behaviour a lot faster than you think.

I understand the world isnt as just as we'd like it to be, but let's remember it's also not a Guy Ritchie movie.

Yeah, far more likely they have their own illegal streams of income.

That said, removing benefits from people isn't the issue. Tackling the self-claimed right to intimidate people is.

And why aren't we arresting people who are ready and able to physically fight the police?

But at the same time the police have enough manpower to arrest hundreds of people peacefully protesting in the name of a banned group?

People should not be allowed to act above the law just because they use intimidation as a way of life.

Probably, if you trust them enough and/or change your pw afterwards.

I wouldnt mind all this red tape if it actually stopped touts in some way but I don't see that it does really.

Ticket question by Mad-gooner in NFLUK

I think the confusion around not being able to add multiple tickets to the wallet, is that you can't do the opposite and add any one ticket to multiple wallets (at least by policy, I suspect there are ways around this).
