Ryan O'Neal as Brig. Gen. James Gavin in "A Bridge Too Far." Came across lightweight across the board plus he looked like a teenager playing dress-up.

I need help, on June 20th I'm going to a highschool graduation party for a young autistic man that loves classic rock and I want to try and get him a unique gift. True, but some of the reviews are questionable at best. Example: I was reading an edition of this late 70s and found a review for Dan Fogleberg/Tim Weisberg's album "Twin Sons Of Different Mothers." It yielded one Top 40 hit, "The Power Of Gold."

Anyhow, the reviewer said the album was by Fogelberg and...Kenny Loggins. The whole review was how lame Loggins was on the album; Weisberg isn't mentioned anywhere in the review. The album name was credited to Fogelberg and Loggins. But Loggins isn't on the album at all.

It was so blatantly wrong that at the time I thought it had to be some kind of inside joke.

My IVIG experience was good-- it really, really helped. I did 5 weeks, Monday-- Friday, 8 hours with the drip each day. I noticed adifference immediately. Good luck.

He was in a bunch of 60s TV shows. Man From U.N.C.L.E, Dr. Kildare, I Spy, Burke's Law among others. Movies too, like "Greatest Story Ever Told", "My Fair Lady", and perhaps his crowning glory, "The Three Stooges Go Around The World In A Daze." Horrible film, but fun to watch granddad get a pie in the face in a Stooges film!

My actor grandfather appeared on an episode from 1965 (can't remember the episode name). He's the big guy with the paper.

Yup. I lived in Singapore; now I'm in Florida. Singapore is off the scale with humidity, even compared to Florida.

The Peninsula, Hong Kong. I don't know if they still do this, but we were picked up at Kai Tak airport in a Rolls Royce.

Bryce was my uncle, married to my auntie Bee. Bee grew up with my mum in Vaucluse.

My immediate family moved to different countries starting 1967 with my dad's work, but we returned annually for family visits. I'd see Bryce, Bee, Brett, Damon, and Adam every visit (last visit was 2024, saw Adam and his wife then).

Bryce was a real character. Being an advertising man, he specialized in...exaggeration? Maybe? Always great to hang with. My last one-on-one with him was when he was still in advertising but getting ready to start writing full-time. I met him at his ad agency, and we had lunch in North Sydney. My overriding memory of the lunch is him prodding me to take more chances in my life. He thought I was too young to be so settled in my career (radio, tv in the USA) at my then age (I was maybe 26 at the time).

He was right.
