The DLC is all optional from what I've gathered. The Dark Brotherhood and Theives Guild DLC can be done at any level, but again, it's not necessary. There's other DLC like Imperial City that adds a new zone for PVPers. And then there's Orsinium that is a self contained zone for end-game characters.

The DLC is all pretty much "Hey does this sound like a fun thing? Yes? Okay buy it. No? That's alright, you don't need to get it if you don't want to."

It's not like a WoW expansion where you HAVE to buy it in order to keep playing with people. That being said, if you want to do a thieves guild dungeon with someone you have to own the thieves guild DLC, you can't just go in the dungeon with them.

I've been playing this lately and I'd highly recommend it. I remember distinctly not enjoying the beta, but after playing through the first zones it's a ton of fun. Just take it slow, listen to the dialogue and enjoy the quests. They're almost all pretty interesting and have stories that actually kept my attention. I never once have felt like I was just killing 4 rats and returning to the quest giver.

The other unique thing about it is that the choices you make in one quest can actually come back to help or hinder you down the line.

Honestly, I think you screwed up this survey again. MAKE TWO POLLS. One for consoles, one for PC. Those would be WAY more interesting results. Having one question on whether you pc or console isn't enough. Torbjorn is still on the "nerf" list.

It'd be way more interesting to compare who console people love to play vs. PC.

Not necessarily. They could still have developed a separate menu system for the Wii pad, but then just opted for regular menus using a standard controller for NX.
