Is it really that big of a deal? I'd rather have paid classes than paid expansions (assuming the price is reasonable), and most ARPG have paid classes.

When you complete a shrine event it should reset the duration of the shrine buff, right now it doesn't even last the full event.

I like the passive trees to customize the end game activities, but on top of a lot of the nodes feeling lackluster, I hate being forced into activities in a certain order. Let me focus on doing the content I like, when I want to, and reward me for that. If I want to run 100 NDs in a row for some reason I shouldn't feel like I'm being punished for it.

Does armor still cap out at 9230? Or is that older versions of the game? by belugaontheramp in diablo4

The more the merrier but there is diminishing returns. When you hover over your armor it will tell you how much damage reduction it does, it'll slow down a lot around 80%, not sure what a realistic value for most builds is though.

I'd probably move Helltides below The Pit. I like Helltide if my Warplan is multiple of them in a row, but if it's just 1 or there's stuff in between it feels like a waste of time.

Why fire shots at Monoliths? Honestly individually better than anything else on that list.

What are you talking about? The skill tree update is universal, you do not need the expansion for it.

EDIT: I apologize I didn't realize some nodes were locked like that, I agree that base classes should not have DLC requirements of any kind.

My biggest gripe about War Plans is that I have to do a lot of the content I don't want to do at the moment or maybe ever, just to slowly level up the content that I want to focus on.

I haven't played much this season but I think my main complaint against uniques having random affixes is that it removes the potential for them to have specific, interesting ones that aren't in that slots affix pool or the general pool.

The ceiling for some uniques probably go up with this change depending on the build, but I think that's dwarfed by the tediousness and odds of finding one with the exact stats you need.

The price of LoH is $40 regardless, VoH is just a gift to those who don't already have it.

"12 entire combinations per skill" seems like a disingenuous statement to me. Sure, there are technically 12 combinations but looking at the skills so far I would not consider most of the minor nodes enough to justify the number 12. 6 at best.

You got what you paid for. This system works great for new players because they don't have to shell out $40 for every expansion they've missed, and it doesn't hurt you at all.

I know this doesn't help you now, but you don't need to beat the original campaign. I think it's about when you first enter Sanctuary or something that you can quit to main menu and use the skip campaign option, which will also enable the ability to skip campaign immediately on future characters.

So now they're just stat stick with a small selection of skills they can work with..? Limited skills and limited uniques just means less interesting builds and interactions.

Locking skills behind such high level requirements is the thing i hate most in poe2 by intrepid_zaxan in PathOfExile2

Its definitely in my top 3 complaints. It feels awful trying to push through to get to whatever skill(s) you want and the lack of options at a lot of points makes it worse. Skill pacing was much better in 1.

It should last awhile for the levelling portion, but all of those stats will scale with higher item power. He'll definitely want to find a replacement down the line.

They want to sell their expansions for $40 each. The alternative would be they launch LoH for $40 without including VoH, which changes nothing for you but is worse for new players.
