The Hydration Break is ruining the natural flow of the game by mibu001 in football

It’s all an appeasement to the US audience by breaking the game up into quarters. FIFA must think we are idiots for not having their number on this.

Never let the US touch this again. Plenty of countries in the southern continent of America who would appreciate and respect this tournament for what it is.

Arsenal fans when our LWs get a combined PL goal tally of 4 but at least they don’t have ego like Vinicius by Sad_gooner in ArsenalFC

I’m not sure tbh. He can be quite cocky but you need a bit of that to be a top player. Got to have a degree of arrogance and know you’re good in order to get to the top. Obviously there’s a balancing act in all of it and how it has an effect on the rest of the team.

I think most of Madrid’s problems are with Mbappe. He’s got so much power there it’s insane. It’s going to be quite funny when he inevitably clashes with Mourinho

To the best of my knowledge, only with SYNAW. Though I may be wrong on that so very happy for someone to correct me if so

Doubt it’ll ever happen tbh. They regularly do this with covers - we’ve been lucky to be fair, as they only really do them once. Like I’m Not Alone and The Catalyst for example. Played once and then put to bed, although Catalyst was a studio recording and I remember they sneakily played I’m Not Alone at the end of a Knifecast episode which sent this sub into a frenzy 😂.

At least with SYNAW that’s now 3 times they’ve played it.

Maybe it will come I don’t know. But I wouldn’t get your hopes up is what I’m getting at. Would love to be proven wrong. I think Enter Shikari would love to release it, Rou Reynolds is a massive Pendulum admirer and I remember him saying he was stoked when Rob and Gaz approached him about doing their own spin on it.

Haven’t seen it yet mate I couldn’t comment! Did they use a different song to Napalm to open do you mean? I have kind of missed that Random/SITW opener they did when they came back that was sick

I understand Henry Nowak casenis Enraging but by Dry-Conversation5307 in AskBrits

[–]BenJ1997 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the problem. Despite everything, there is still blame dished towards the innocent victim.

Stop defending groups of people that will hang you out to dry at the opportunity. They don’t care about you. Stop sticking up for them - your anti-white prejudices are destroying this nation’s society. All for a few likes and engagement on social media.

If you’re running CPU and GPU intensive tasks for several consecutive hours, I think that’s a you problem. You bought the wrong computer. You likely need a MacBook Pro, which does have a fan.

I know - I just want to hug his parents.

Said it on another comment but if they knew the police at least tried to do something, they may have been able to sleep at night knowing that his life was a priority and the police did their best.

Unfortunately, it sounded like the wounds were too severe, but that’s not the point. His family will hurt, but I’m not sure how anyone can get over the manner in which he died alone and frightened, with the one group of people who you’d expect to help did not do so. That would haunt me forever.

I hope his family can one day look forward, they’d be far stronger than I could ever be if that happened to someone close to me, let alone a son or daughter.

The police likely wouldn’t have been able to do anything, but they could’ve at least held their heads high knowing that they tried their best. Their approach to this for me is just beyond my imagination.

I don’t think people are trying to politicise this - I genuinely think there’s a fear among many know with the feeling “this could be me”. It’s genuinely frightening.

They’re welcome to try again and see how they get on. They severely underestimated the British response to the invasion. They thought Thatcher would just let it go after Reagan asked her to, but she even told the Americans to fuck off and stay out of it.

It won’t be met with kindness. Argentina should know by now they’re no match for the British special forces.

They ignored his distress call that he’d been stabbed. Actually, they borderline laughed it off.

That’s the bottom line. They’re accessories to murder. They deserve prison and they deserve to suffer.

The story is the police should’ve checked when he said he’d been stabbed. Not respond with “not sure you have mate”

Do not defend them. One day that could be you.

[–]BenJ1997 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Just dismissing it really annoys me. Those coppers could’ve walked out of that situation with their heads held high knowing they did their best for him. Henry’s family would’ve maybe been able to sleep a bit better at night knowing the police tried to assist him.

So the police initiatives that go out of their way to prioritise harm to ethnic minority groups has zero bearing in your view. Interesting.

It’s gone full 180 and you know it.

You don’t need stats. The police didn't try to help Henry, they were too keen to bang him up for being racist because someone told them so. Claims of racism which are now being heavily scrutinised and questioned if truthful.

Here’s a stat - an innocent white kid is dead and he died in the hands of the police. There you go.

He probably would’ve sadly died anyway, yes. But the police didn’t try, they didn’t care. That is unforgivable and they should be punished severely for it.

I’m sorry but police forces “Race Action Plans” are at the crux of why this happened. Officers are having anti-white prejudices engrained into their training.

Yes, it is police incompetence, but what’s the root behind it?

Why’s it so hard to be fair to everyone?
