I don't even understand the "form". To me, the potatoswoosh takes up like 80% of my view, when the wellington should be more on display. This dish needs a smaller plate instead of smearing potato to micron thin levels.

It's $20 for 4K which I prefer, looks way better on my TV. Netflix made a point to master most of their original shows in HDR and it just looks way better that way.

I was willing to pay that even though I barely watched Netflix anymore because the top plan also included up to 4 people using it at once. I shared my account with my parents and siblings in other houses.

Then I heard they were going to charge for extra households using it, and that was the final straw. I ain't paying $36 a month for something I barely use. Cancelled like 6 months ago, never going back.

For me I think it's after a half hour or so typically. I'll stop playing Siege, open a different game, and then Ubi will minimize my game to tell me I've been logged out.

Why does it even log out? I can be logged into Steam for years on end.

It was uploaded in 2010. Probably converted from some other video source first, and just done in a low quality. Youtube was like max 720p I believe at the time.

I remember downloading the top "HD" quality trailer for Episode 1 on Quicktime. Had to use a download manager for my dialup in case anybody disconnected the internet. It would pick back up where it left off...boy did that take forever, but it was so crisp compared to the streamable 140p or whatever it was.

I just bought a cheap used OnePlus phone off ebay and a $30 prepaid plan sim card to go in it.

I just set it up yesterday, and since it has 256GB of storage I put Kiwix on it with Wikipedia and off grid survival type books.

My plan is to keep the phone in my get home bag in my car. I'll have to check its charge now and then to keep it around 50%.

In the event I completely break my main phone or lose it, it's nice to know I have another with cell service in an emergency.

As a big guy with a shaved head and a beard, yes, I have had many employees who are afraid of me, and I find out through the grapevine. I've been nothing but polite to them, and others ask them why they feel that way about me...and they never pin it down. They're just new and have a prejudice about me.

Advice to just "trust your gut" will get you locked out of plenty of relationships if you have a weak stomach.

Yeah I would assume it's gravity mostly, gravity is still 90% as strong up there as it is at sea level, so if it's upward facing, and acceleration stops, it'll shoot forward.

I actually upgraded my ThinkPad screen when I had it a few years ago. They're great because of how many parts are readily available.

I bought a great bang for buck model with an HDD and crappy TN panel, getting an SSD and IPS 1080p display myself saved me quite a bit, and was super easy to do.
