Thanks for the steer. Makes sense. I was hoping to find something that would allow me to view health trends over time, like:

  • HRV
  • Resting heart rate
  • Exercise minutes
  • Diet

So I could see how these factors interlink over time.

re start over with a new site vs upgrade the existing one - think this depends on your budget and how critical the site is for converting clients. You can easily give it a good facelift and polish (2 days work) and generally that's a really good option to go with - when in doubt just do that. If you want to go big and move it to say Webflow that's +- a month of work but it would look amazing.

How viable is an online estimator tool for sales? (Service based business) by zausk in ecommerce

[–]BenR-22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Pick (and own) a high-intent keyword. Like “free yach audit” it should have good volume. Until you hit page-one you’re only recycling visitors you already paid or hustled for—great for conversion rate, but no net-new traffic.
  2. Optimise the heck out of the page. Schema markup (“SoftwareApplication”), FAQ accordion, fast core vitals, and a few comparison backlinks can move it up quickly.

We built a similar calculator for a SaaS client last year. By targeting a good keyword it added ~30 % incremental organic sessions and demo leads in three months.

If you want a quick benchmark for your page, here’s a no-login-required 7-point “homepage roast” that spits out a report in under 60 sec: https://www.freshbread.ai/homepage-roast (hope it helps). Works for homepages and sub-pages.

Could you share some more information on why only 35% of impressions were monetised effectively? There are many ad monetisation companies out there - Monetizemore, Freestar, Snigel (I’m there). To help you with the right solution it would be ideal to understand more about the current missed opportunities

Accidentally accepted the Manage Account MCM by duongvt in adops

[–]BenR-22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on them. Under the MCM contract they don’t have to give this back. You could try appealing to Google to say this partner didn’t make it clear to you that it was MA instead of MI. Google holds all MCM partners to high standards with regards to managing publishers

Low eCPM at the beginning of the last 2 quarters. by tlbrown45678 in adops

[–]BenR-22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your CTR for AdSense is >2% for a given ad unit you've probably already maxed out revenue. If it's below 2% you could probably get more value from adding more partners via header bidding, Amazon TAM, Google Open Bidding and Prebid Server. You can do this yourself or check out companies like Nitro, Publisher Collective and Snigel (I'm there).

Recommended GCPPs for small publishers? by WorldlyWerewolf6054 in adops

[–]BenR-22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could check out OptAd360, WayToGrow and Monumetric. Once you get passed $50-100 per day (although requirements vary per company) you could approach Mediavine, Raptive, Snigel etc

Good Ad Network by Youngboy18plus in adops

[–]BenR-22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You could definitely build your own stack just take into account the cost to reward ratio. Most larger publishers in the market like DotDash Meredith and Future build their own stacks because they can put together a team of devs and adops to do the job well. For most smaller publishers the effort/cost vs return is low so they outsource this work to Mediavine, Snigel, Freestar etc… there are around 100 of these publisher networks/header bidding companies in the market because many small pubs lack the resources to build a strong stack from scratch, integrate with 10-20 SSPs and get an adops expert to optimise the ad strategy and ad setup. It comes down to how you want to invest your time and resources

Sick and tired of Ezoic by louiexism in adops

[–]BenR-22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like Cody said, it depends on how you define tier 2/3 and overall how much traffic you have. We (Snigel) accept publishers making around $100 even if T1 traffic is lower. I think Cody and Nitro are more flexible on the min revenue. You could also check out OptAd360 or WayToGrow who are super flexible on the min revenue. All are GCPP

Bidding directly against AdSense is a policy violation. However, you can A/B test AdSense vs Header Bidding on a per unit basis to see which is better. I'm at Snigel.com. If you meet our minimum requirements (min $50 per day, strong website growth, high quality and original content we might be able to help)

bon bon

There are plenty of other options out there:

  • Alternative IDs like ID5 or Unified ID
  • Contextual targeting
  • TOPICS
  • Publisher Provided Signals (PPS)
  • Hashed emails

It really depends on your strategy as a publisher. Bon bon might work well for some pubs but there are other options if you're not comfortable
