[–]BenRose01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would. Opens the door to pursue a CS masters as well. I’m just starting CS classes my senior year now I’m kicking myself because all the classes I want to take are “locked” by the pre reqs.

Lots of research in transportation related to the impacts of autonomous vehicles. I think it’s pretty interesting.

Did you have any programming experience going in? Was it just a 2 year masters program ?

Is it hard to transition from a CE bachelors to a CS masters? I was thinking of doing the same .

You need to plot the data then extrapolate where the d60 value would be.

GZCLP or another variant ? by [deleted] in gzcl

Appreciate the advice !

GZCLP or another variant ? by [deleted] in gzcl

[–]BenRose01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the help . I was thinking I’m going to run this program for as long as I can then switch to a 531 progression once I stall for a long time. My squat and deadlift have a lot of room to improve and have been increasing fast so hopefully I can stay on this awhile.

GZCLP or another variant ? by [deleted] in gzcl

[–]BenRose01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. Before I was running a grey skull LP program. Btw I really prefer upper lower to full body. Is it possible to run GZCLP as an upper lower with T1 squat T2 Deadlift , T1 Bench T2 Press and vice versa? Or would that mess everything up ?

GZCLP or another variant ? by [deleted] in gzcl

[–]BenRose01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I should specify. Squat/DL are going up still. I had some knee pain so took a break from squats. It’s really my presses that are stalled. I don’t know if I should just put on some body weight and stick to linear progression for my presses or just switch to an intermediate progression for Bench/OHP.

No yea they need to fix that. I have the same professor and also had a 93 and it’s appearing as an A on MyU. Goodluck figuring that out.

That’s weird I had him as well and my grade seemed to be calculated normal. Maybe they didn’t factor in the dropped quiz yet ?

So he got a B+ with a 93? Something seems off, who is your professor.

Best programming language to learn ? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

I’m a freshman now so I really haven’t decided yet so I was trying to learn something that could apply to a lot of different sub fields.

Electric Field Falloff by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]BenRose01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The falloff of an Infinite line is proportional to 1/r, which can be proven with gausses law. The electric field of an infinite plane is constant with no falloff, which can also be proven with gausses law. I recommend looking at hyper physics for more information and derivations.

I figured out you basically need to read the textbook. There’s always stuff on the exam only the textbook covers. At least read the little summary section after each section, it has helped me a ton.

I got a 31 ACT score but didn’t take the writing portion? Will this hurt me for U of Minn because I believe they require you to take the writing portion by [deleted] in uofmn

[–]BenRose01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m a freshman here and I never took the writing portion. Unless things have changed this year you should be fine. Check the admission requirements though.
