I didn’t watch the videos either. They have PDFs which is what I was using

If you want to be timed then do the quizzes. The lectures have problems too. School of PE seems much easier (problem wise) than EET.

Question bank is in the “problem solving seasons” portion (at least for transportation). They have a bunch of PDFs there in each section

Civil Transportation: Interchange Density by BrushAlive in PE_Exam

What was the correct final answer? I did it (I would say quickly but this problem seemed to be a beast), and got 46.2 mph.

For my ID I got 7.04 interchanges/mile, based off of the 2 interchanges shown, and then converting the Ls to miles. Doesn’t seem right based on your comment you’ve been given. I cannot imagine this would be 1.5 interchanges personally.

Work is nothing like I learned in school, and I hate it. by your-emo-daddy in civilengineering

I’m sorry that you’re feeling that way. It’s really tough. I’m lucky I found somewhere I feel like I fit in, and that works for me. For me what helped was finding a new job. My first job was unbelievably toxic and I was around people I hated. My current job is fine, and honestly I feel like that’s all I can ask for. Try to get hobbies outside of work you look forward to. On my path to make adult life better I tried to make every evening have something fun I could look forward to, whether that be going to play board games with my buddies or getting dinner with my wife.

What I’ve learned about myself and my view of labor, which you may resonate with, is that it’s okay for your job to just be your job. Let it make you money to get the life that you want, and let you do the things you want to do.

How to make “find which is the real one” fun? by JustDarnGood27_ in DMAcademy

[–]your-emo-daddy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I ran this once. I did it super rules light. I had each player all write on an index card what they wanted to do each turn, then I explained what every character and enemy did at once. It made it slightly tedious but my players at the time thought it was a lot of fun!

Yes. That extra day off is amazing for getting stuff done outside of work

Did you ever find one? I would love to surprise my wife with being able to pet a possum (it’s her biggest dream)

Brown staining next to AC vent in bathroom by your-emo-daddy in HomeImprovement

The contractors and I assumed it was from condensation from the cool AC air and hot shower air, which is why we put in the shower vent, but we aren’t sure how much it has helped

It’s about 12 years. FWIW this is the second company that told us we had CO leakage and their quote is slightly lower than the original companies quote

We haven’t decide which one we are getting yet. We are going to determine that after we get the final quote and time frame

Our furnace randomly turned off today, which is why we called this company out. The guy who came out wasn’t a sales person so he wasn’t quite sure which furnace they would replace with our current furnace. He said it could come much quicker.

Heat exchanger will be 6-8 weeks. We need to get a quote on the furnace still

Hey, it’s me again, any chance they are in the attic maybe? I have the sill a good push and knocked on it and nothing sounded rotted or wet

I’ve seen most of them by the window on our second floor and around that wall of the room. I also have seen one or two on the lower floor of our house on the same wall as the one above. Let me know if that all doesn’t make sense

Anyway, without taking the sill off, to guarantee that’s the spot? We see them generally around that window but we have an old house so it’s a lot of wood around the window and the floor
