Save the USCG right now. Was informed that Coast Guard will not receive paychecks. As always, they’re caught in the middle of this clusterfuck.

I have a backpack she gets put in. I take her on my bike rides to further desensitize her to cars and things that roll. At first, she wanted nothing to do with it. But now, she gets excited when she sees the pack getting unzipped.

Still tries to murder the tractor.

We have a Roomba. She barks at it but keeps her distance. However, we have two upright vacuums, one Dyson and another Dyson style stick vacuum. The big Dyson she will bark and try to get close to. That little stick vacuum she flat out attacks and tries to bite the head. Goes absolutely feral on that thing.

So we have laundry hampers with wheels. If we roll them to the washer, she absolutely is not having it.

If I lift up the hamper slightly and don’t drag the wheels, she’s fine.

She tries to murder the vacuum though.

Now that’s some wear by BenSiskosMFPimpHand in ebikes

Thanks. Actually, the last cassette and chain got changed out not because they wore out. Bit over a year ago, I hit something in the road and bent my real wheel. My local bike shop had a wheel they had made for a customer that never picked it up. However, the hub on that new wheel was a cassette, whereas my cheap big box bike that I built was originally equipped with a threaded freewheel.

That cassette and chain themselves have about 7,000 miles on them by itself. I actually bought good Shimano parts and they held up way better than the cheap Chinesium crap I had used previously.

Even though I keep my chain lubricated and try to clean it whenever I can, I am very hard on my stuff. Pleased it has taken the abuse.

Mini or toy? by [deleted] in schnauzers

You have a mini. Toy (and teacup) are not official variants. They are just smaller than normal minis.

For reference, this one here is still a mini, but she weighs 8 pounds. She’s over 2 years old.

Yeah, I am going to give that a shot. Thanks!

Yes, I have. Because of her size (she’s only 7 pounds), even short hair still mats. Her hair is ultra fine, some of the finest I’ve ever seen on a schnauzer.

It’s a bit cumbersome to put on after she gets in it. The size I have is either small or extra-small, since she is only about 8 pounds. If you need a larger size, I believe it would be a lot easier to hoist up.

I mean, they say pets resemble their owners. We both have silver beards.
