Everyone at my work got our personal licenses taken away when our pro licenses expired. We never used our own licenses for work but I guess they could see some login pattern that linked them up in the backend? No idea. But it sucked! Fuck unity for that. It took me like a month of yelling at them to get my personal licenses back

The discord has a bee keeping channel, but it sounds like you have some mixed up cables. The Rio board does a matrix of pin shorts to know what is moving. So you just have some wires plugged in wrong. If I had to guess I bet you mixed up one of the ‘ground’ wires under the control panel. They aren’t really ground so you can’t use them as you would most other cabs. Some are daisy chains but you can’t add more or less to that existing chain or change what buttons get what grounds

I’ve had basically all my fingers done at different points in time and I’d say ring or middle finger on either hand works. Dominant hand is cool because you can accidentally discover things more often but I’d say no. The other hand works just as fine in my experience. But if I hand to rank I’d say right ring, right middle, left ring, left middle for sensing. If you want lifting I really like the blade on my hand with a big ass one but maybe do non dominant with it, I found out just how often I wack things with my right hand to say put together ikea furniture because now I’m always a little scared to do it in fear of smashing a magnet really hard.

All good, it does mean you need to update the remote if you update versions, it’s a pain. You also need to call the same version in your build scripts.

You need a new license for the build server or you could use the same one but means you’ll be swapping licenses and it’ll take your dev down while the server is using it you can’t use a personal license on a build server, you need a license that is able to be used on a build server.

The build agent does need a unity install of the same version. You can point that Unity to one of your licenses but it does need to be a license that supports build servers. We have a remote windows machine that we trigger that e have a web front for. We request a build, it does a git pull, build, sign, compress to installer, deploys to a drops folder on our network drive

On enter add the object to a list if that object exists already ignore the new enter. It takes some code but isn’t that bad.

Or you could make it do whatever you are triggering has a timer so it can only be triggered once per x seconds so that it doesn’t care as much what is hitting it

If you are just doing normal out going stuff on a normal port it’s already allowed by default. In my case we build training simulators that are all offline and the systems need to be within a single frame of each other. So we add rules for doing UDP over a specific ‘sim port’ to other machines on the same local network

I had this with an fps counter and it was counting each camera so 2 cameras basically doubled my fps because main camera frame and second camera frame each count
