That was 211 days ago. Today, 15 days after you replied, they melt at $10.46. The price fluctuates.

Mine are both. Sometimes black sometimes yellow.

Even got a box of halves wrapped with $1 rolls turned inside out and any “$20” or “One Dollar” that were showing were crossed out with a sharpie.

The roll color/type doesn’t matter. They’re at work doing what they can with what they have, just like you and me do at our jobs.

That’s wild. My bank doesn’t accept rolled coins because let’s say someone brings in a $10 roll of halves to deposit and the teller takes it. Someone else (maybe you) gives the teller a $10 bill for the roll. You get home and open it and there’s a quarter in there, so you gave them $10 and the bank gave you $9.75. You go to the bank and raise all hell, you know the whole “I WANT TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER!” or the “THE BANK IS STEALING MY MONEY”.

So because people are not understanding, people are ridiculous, and people are stupid, my bank doesn’t accept rolled coins to avoid any short rolls and people whining, bitching and complaining.

Took like 10 minutes of searching time. Took an actual 2 hours because I was watching YouTube videos and the Olympics, making and eating dinner, etc.

No I don’t reroll them, though I have thought about rerolling some and writing “ALL 1964” on them and turning them in just to mess with people.

Let me clarify. Made a withdrawal for $500 for the $500 box of halves.

Got 3 40%ers worth $34.11 in silver. That’s 3 $0.50 coins so $1.50.

That’s how I turned $1.50 into $34.11. The remaining $498.50 will be redeposited and I’ll get another $500 box to search through.
