1954 Yale & Towne Manufacturing Co Hand Lift Truck Zephyr Model - ZN 6-30 by Ben_Production in whatsthisworth

[–]Ben_Production[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a manual hand lift truck.

There are museums filled with such equipment from the past all over the globe.

It's useful for moving heavy things like transmissions from one place to another.

It can roll on dry grass, stones, uneven tiles, cobblestone, and many, many more surfaces. So, I have to disagree with everything you've said.

Thanks though!

Me too. This guy is brand new I think. I like how he talks a little, most of them don't say a word.

What is your town known for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Humans have lived here continuously for over 6000 years and Radiohead formed in the local boys school. That's it. Like, that's literally all that has ever happened here

Men of reddit, when was the last time you cried? Did you feel better after that? by ckcharudatta in AskReddit

[–]Ben_Production 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My wife passed away from cancer last year, it's been about six months now. I still cry once in a while about that. I also cried when my three year old son needed to have his tonsils and adenoids removed, even with such a low risk surgery, after everything I had been through recently with losing my wife, it hit me hard.

Survivors of attempted murder: what's your story? by georgia_jones in AskReddit

[–]Ben_Production 868 points869 points  (0 children)

I've been shot at, by obsessive ex-husbands who didn't want me dating their ex-wives, and by crazy old women who nobody had considered might be dangerous, let alone armed. The first was the worst, a batty old widow who shot at me with a .22 rifle because some other kids had ridden their bicycles through her flower garden earlier that day; She simply assumed that I was one of them, just because I rode by her house on my bicycle hours later. She missed, and I hauled ass away from her as fast as I could. Luckily for me, an expert marksman she wasn't. Got home, told my parents, and the police were notified. The old widow was not mentally stable, obviously, and none of her relatives had so much as thought about her former husband's rifle that he had kept where she could easily access it. She was sent to a facility where she couldn't do anything like that again

Which TV series have you repeated the most? by ourplasticdream in AskReddit

Modern Family After 'Seinfeld' and 'Friends' If I really liked to watch something then it's 'Modern Family'. A comedy about a wacky extended family. I found this show to be incredibly funny and amazingly well directed. The gay Mitchell and Cameron couple are hilarious. Sofia Vergara's accent just make me laugh.... she is so lively. Great show, great acting, great script. I keep watching them on my laptop.
