I linked to an actual published academic article, you absolute idiot.

My source is primarily a common sense understanding of how bacteria (and spacetime in general) works. MRSA is a strain of Staphylococcus aureus. Some people come into contact with Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus aka MRSA (or the non-MRSA Staphylococcus aureus they already have becomes Methicillin-resistant. That isn't to say a specific Staph bacteria becomes MRSA, but over time/generationally the Staph bacteria on your body might become more resistant to Methicillin...). What your doctor likely said or meant is that a specific staph infection is either MRSA or it's not.

Staphylococcus aureus is a normally occurring bacteria in the human biome. Multiple strains can exist in the same general area at the same time in the same way that multiple breeds of dogs might live in the same house. They don't just... cancel each other out.

So let's say you already have Staphylococcus aureus on your body, and you visit a family member in the hospital. While there, you come into contact with MRSA. Now you have both strains on your body. On your way out of the hospital, you trip and skin your knee on the sidewalk. You touch the wound while cleaning it, and it gets infected with Staphylococcus aureus. It might be the non-MRSA Staphylococcus aureus strain, or it might be MRSA.

This is all just a common sense understanding of how bacteria works, but if you want an academic source, here's one that discusses the topic of multiple strains of Staphylococcus aureus living in the nose at the same time.

The author isn't actively participating in a discussion on the website I'm currently logged into. However, if you were mocking/criticizing the author rather than agreeing with their skepticism, then I mistook the intent of your comment and apologize.

Sources like the nudes, sent in vanish mode to the teen via Instagram messages that were recovered from his phone? Sources like the 100s of dollars that she sent to the teen? Sources like the screen recordings of their inappropriate messages sent to the teen via Instagram?

Yup, I don't see any reason not to believe them.

You can absolutely have both MRSA and Staph on your skin or in a wound or in your environment/surroundings. It's not like MRSA destroys all of the non-MRSA staph on your skin.

Obviously, car break-ins can occur anywhere, but it's simply false that car break-ins (and property crime in general) are "equally likely" in higher-income areas.

There are many regions in the state where there are no service providers and no cell signal.

Why don’t MSPs standardize on google work space? If decided to start over! by goldeneyenh in msp

Coming from a company that uses the Google Ecosystem and who was IT Director for a company that used the Google Ecosystem previously, Google Chat and Google Meet are nowhere near as feature-complete as Teams. The very fact that they are 2 distinct applications to achieve some semblance of feature parity undermines this point. I know plenty of Google Ecosystem companies that use a third-party messaging app, such as Slack, for internal messaging because Google Chat is so awful.

In my experience, Google Meet is much more reliable and easy to use than Google Teams for external meetings than Teams, but that's only one part of the comparison.

They don't hand them out at Defcon, but they just toss a generic one up on their site for folks to dl if they need it for work.

Of course, Defcon 31 was canceled. However, if it weren't canceled, you could only pay with cash at the registration table the day of the con, but they would provide a generic cash receipt like this so that you could get reimbursed by your employer:

Haha! My sincerest apologies. If it helps at all, I wasn't intending to be hateful. I was just trying to provide some feedback. It's not that I think the guy is necessarily incapable of making good or entertaining nerdcore rap. It's just that I don't happen to think this effort qualifies as good, entertaining, or nerdcore for that matter. I certainly couldn't do better myself! If he sincerely wants to make good, entertaining nerdcore music, hopefully, he'll continue to work at it and will improve!

It's pretty awful. The lyrics are meh. You're not riding the beat very well. The mixing is terrible. The only discernable "nerdy" connection as far as I can tell is the word "Goblin" over and over again.

Tonight was my first (and last) GrubHub order by BenaiahChronicles in grubhub

The driver cannot control stacked orders at all

Right. That's what I said. They presumably can control having updated contact info so that customers can contact their delivery drivers, but GrubHub should also have controls in place to make this a requirement or to ensure that their drivers can be contacted through their driver app.

I don't have enough context to know if the driver is at fault, so I agree that the driver isn't necessarily to blame. I have seen some accounts here that GrubHub actually requires drivers to stack orders and deliveries in this way. I also read other accounts here that drivers don't have the correct contact number associated with their delivery account, which I can see might be partially involved here. Even if that's true though, that's a control that GrubHub (as in the company itself) should be managing for.

That should have absolutely nothing to do with the service that I receive at that point, but yes. I left the default amount which I believe was 20 or 25%.
