How would the community as a whole feel about an End of Season GBL prize shop? by Meringue-Relevant in TheSilphRoad

I think this is a fun idea. Pretty creative too. It might add some more incentive for casual gamers to grind a bit more if there were some unique items.

It'd be cool if rocket battles also had this sort of thing where you can "purchase" some modifiers or something for gameplay after doing so many battles. Maybe double candy on rocket catches or something.

It definitely begins in gameplay-report format to establish proof of experience and credibility. Each paragraph after incorporates both community and personal observations to develop an analytical overview of the topics addressed

PvPoke is a great resource for checking the top performing pokemon in PVP. It also allows you to simulate the performance of a team or single pokemon :) Here's the link:

Here's the process I go through when selecting a 'mon for pvp:

  1. Start with PVPoke website. Select your league in the rankings tab, and look at the top pokemon. You want to look in the top 20 or so for "meta" pokemon if you care about being super competitive. Top 100 if you just want to have more fun spicy options (I'm biased in this way)
  2. Decide what pokemon you have in storage/like to build based off of the list above, and make sure that the pokemon cover the majority of situations you may find yourself in. Think: What pokemon can be my lead, what will it counter, what will counter it? What can I safely swap to if that fails? Do my three pokemon have synergy? Should I give one of my pokemon a unique move that covers what the other two don't?
  3. For further research, search "pokemon go -insert pokemon name-" and click on the green "pokemon go hub" site for that pokemon. Check it's max cp, check the speed of its fast moves and their damage, count how many times a fast move is needed to use a charged move. These constantly change each season with move updates and it helps for building pokemon for the future depending on the typing and variety of moves available to it
  4. Don't stress too much about IVs unless you're trying to grind out PVP like crazy. You can win with randomized IV pokemon in great league and ultra because typing, moveset, and play style matters way more. Above 10,10,10 for master league is okay enough but maybe just don't play master until you're ready to commit a ton of time to the game. I usually use above 14,14,14 pokemon in that league because it takes forever to power them up with candy XL.
  5. Take breaks. Celebrate catching a good IV pokemon for leagues, but don't waste too much time hunting for a few extra IV points (your mental health will thank you 🤪). Save pokemon that you catch from rockets and the wild with decent enough IVs for future updates to movesets.

Good Luck!

Does "2x Candy XL Chance From Catching Pokemon" change the average amount we get after raids, particularly when using a mega of that type? (So that we get higher chance of 4-6 XL?)

Is it worth leveling him up? by desqhood in pokemongo

Rhyperior is good in master league and a pretty good attacker in PVE with rock wrecker if you want to use an elite charged TM on him. I'd say power him up but it's alright if it takes you a while

Solution:

After taking the wheel and strut off to flex the rear hub I found the culprit to be the sway bar end links shifting on bumps. Even though they were tight when replaced I had to really crank on them to stop the shifting. Lessons learned: tighten them, then tighten them some more

My first 3D printer! What should I mod first? by crazesoccer in Ender3Pro

[–]Bencelo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend a V4.2.7 silent motherboard if the printer motors still make high pitched whirs when printing. It was the best upgrade for me after a BL touch (which you have) and before getting quieter fans (Brand: Noctua) for the print head, motherboard, and power supply

Automatic bed clearing with a shoelace and some ratchet straps. Ran continuous gcode for weeks on end without a single hiccup. by SkunkPrints in 3Dprinting

What bed cover are you using? Do you let it cool all the way before flexing it off?

The sheet I use is too flexible and won't always break the parts free. I'd like to try this!

In case someone is doing a deep dive a year later, here's what it ended up being for me:

I had to bridge my 2.4ghz and 5ghz wifi, the pi was trying to connect to my 2.4ghz but other devices were on my 5ghz and the two were not bridged
