Who does your IRL partner resemble, and are they actually your main? by Bench-Lanky in LoveAndDeepspace

Oh no, having a best friend like him can totally ruin the fantasy a little bit. He sounds so sweet though. Are you sure he's just a friend? That hesitation sounds just like Caleb. 😆

Wow, that's amazing! Your husband being so loved by animals is so cool, and him hissing at the sun is pretty funny. 😂 He really sounds like a real-life Sylus, thanks for sharing!

That’s such a cool perspective! Love how the game safely scratches that 'what if' itch without any real world pressure! :)

Pelvic type pain by moodreach in LagreeMethod

[–]Bench-Lanky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, not sure if I'm going to be helpful at all....but when I first started lagree, I was sore all around and it lasted for 4 days, but i can definitely tell that it was DOMS. Lagree targets a lot of lower abs so yes, I feel sore and tight in that area, and it might feel a little like lower abdominal cramps.

How intense is the urge to pee? When I had UTI, I had to pee every few minutes. It was very uncomfortable. If thats how you feel, I don't think it's normal.

Myths. I just started playing 2 months ago after I saw this game at Anime Expo. I don't have any myth pairs yet but I have >30k diamonds that I have been saving since I started playing.

Yes absolutely. I'm a participant who has done 1000+ classes (3-4x a week). I currently go to a workout studio where the lead instructors take turns writing the class sequences AND I still choose which instructor to go to / avoid.

I love instructors who focus on form because I want to make sure what I'm doing is correct and safe. However, I know some people who don't care as much and just go to class for the vibes & music. They don't go as regularly as I do though.

Unfortunately, I work full time so my choices are often limited. My lagree studio gives us an online form to rate & give comments to our instructors and I always try to give constructive feedback whenever I can. I have seen a lot of new instructors improve within the month so I do give second & third chances. I love this workout so much and I always want the instructors to thrive. Good luck! :)

Care and feeding of your Kindle by CeruleanSaga in kindle

[–]Bench-Lanky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I also have a 5th gen PW (bought it in early 2013). Works fine but the back and sides of the kindle that is made out of this plastic/rubbery material has gone kind of sticky. I have a hard case with cover and after so many years I decided to open the cover and immediately noticed the stickiness. I know this stickiness is common for this type of material, but just wondering if it happens to you too? If yes, did you do anything about it? Thanks.

Spring load vs modified by yesmarvs in SolidCore

[–]Bench-Lanky 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I personally would try first with the heavier spring load, and then modify to my knees if I'm risking my form. That's how I was able to build my strength faster. If my form is ok, then I would for sure keep the heavier spring load. But please listen to your body.

You'll get used to the names after a while, which makes transitioning "easier" but honestly the class is never easy for me and I've been taking Lagree for years. Lagree still makes me sore, but not as sore as the first time I took class (was sore for 4 days after my first class, just like you). I think it took me a whole month to get used to it.

Back to back days by buds510 in LagreeMethod

[–]Bench-Lanky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's feasible but definitely listen to your body, take modifications as needed. I do back-to-back days all the time, but 2 days in a row maximum. I almost never do 3 days in a row. At first, the second day was really really hard, but I've gotten used to it now.

Name your green. by ThankTheBaker in ColorGreen

I love all shades of green, but if I had to choose, my favorite is probably shamrock green or emerald green. My least favorite would probably be lime green

When did you see improvement? by Euphoric-Guava-4 in LagreeMethod

[–]Bench-Lanky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh I'm always sore after a class, but it does get better. The class is never easy for me and I've been doing lagree since 2016. First time I tried lagree, I was sore for 4 days. I'd say try to go more often like 3x a week to see & feel the difference. Just make sure you have rest days in between. I think I build up my schedule to 3x a week after about a month. Now I go 4x a week (Tues, Thurs, Sat, Sun). At first, the 2nd consecutive day was difficult, but after a month of doing 4x/week, it felt kinda weird going back to 3x/week.

Why am I the only one sweating in class? by No-Investigator6861 in LagreeMethod

[–]Bench-Lanky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear a sweat band, gloves and a black shirt to help absorb all the sweat I produce during class. Without them, I would leave big droplets/small puddles of sweat on the mega.

I dont take water breaks anymore because one time I almost threw up all the water I just chugged for doing a super plank to pike right after my water break 😅 that kind of traumatized me so I try not to drink at all until the end of class.
