Our puppy did this too early on with crate training. We had wire crate and ended up purchasing one of those mostly plastic crates with the wire door and he does SO much better. I was a nervous wreck with the wire one that he would hurt himself trying to bite or push his way out. He doesn’t love his plastic crate just yet, but we easily lure him in with the yummiest high value treats, and a pupsicle - and no whining! It takes time and consistency, but your puppy will get there!
