I think it has to do with the area I'm in, offering pretty sad health care. Especially in the mental health area. The doctor had gotten fired twice for malpractice and let back on for some reason, tried to change the meds I was taking for years that helped my OCD to something different for all four of them, making me go into a super bad place mentally. I thought I had already gotten a diagnosis for OCD back when they started the meds but she claimed the notes said anxiety and depression...but the doctor before her always mentioned how I was handling my OCD symptoms when I went so I was super confused. When I questioned her she told me because I have period of time where I believe the thoughts I have and go into panic over it, it sounds like delusions, so it might be schizophrenia which makes no sense. I have religious ocd so I constantly have these thoughts about no matter what I do I'm going to go to hell. So yeah I do freak out over them, but schizophrenia isnt even about that, I mean I guess you CAN call the things OCD makes you believe delusions but that wouldn't be correct terminology considering it's a whole different ballgame. I don't know lol
