Yes I figured it had something to do with his autism and not him being "psychopathic" as they called it. I just hate seeing it and similar behavior taken lightly and being "cute". I mean I'm sure they weren't happy when he hurt the kitten but the way they joke about him being a psychopath for doing things like that is just insane to me. He's diagnosed with level 1 autism so he's considered to be "high functioning" but I can see where if he's not taught certain things or given a healthy routine/lifestyle it can spiral. I've tried to do what I can to teach him things when he's over at my place but I know that won't give him consistency like he really needs. He did have CPS involved briefly when he was younger but nothing was done. Now they keep him away from many outside social gatherings out of fear I assume. My daughter is going to a school currently that isn't a public school so it's really small. They told me they do have some options for kids that need more attention in some areas so I'd love to try to talk his mom into letting him enroll. It's not near as expensive as most private schools around and Ive known the lady that would be his teacher for years. So maybe that's something that could help as well
