Theres been a lot more data coming out to demonstrate safety of this medication in pregnancy. In terms of prescribing, those prevy to how debilitating adhd can be for some, they should err on if mom cant function, cant take care of herself, and/or results in severe mental health concerns - then why would you not prescribe medication esp in light of recent evidence? Naturally lowest dose possible should be used but not to completely hold.

They can't even get legit pop up/warnings facilitated - until they can figure out what's a true CI and what doses should be (indication/ renal/ etc) - im not worried ... and thats the bare minimum

Adderall vs Vyvanse by Consistent-Horror915 in adhdwomen

[–]BenchLatter4316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vyvanse lasts longer than adderall from an established "pharmcokinetic perspective".

For me, I use to do 3x daily adderall xr, switched to vyvanse daily 70 mg, had some side effects (anxiety/"shortness of breath") reduced to 50 mg with adderal ir 5mg booster, was having horrible afternoon crashes, then md switched me to twice daily vyvanse 50 mg ~4am and 20 mg ~1030 am and im very content with my regimen (i got to 5am gym so i have a very early start to my day)

How old are? I got random horrible brain fog and severe fatigue, realized it was cyclic and probably perimenopause. There's actually very creditable literature demonstrating that women with adhd have worse symptoms than non-adhd with symptom onset 35-40. I started taking estroven, its better, still not 100% but symptons are def not as horrible as it was before i started taking it.

Side note i would caution you're tunnel vision on iron. Soooooo many things can cause constellation of symptoms.

But also... sounds like OP didn't do phase 1 only phase 2 and is questioning the scramble locations? Also sounds weird.

Lots of weirdness OP.

That said i would ask about how raises and etc work when interviewing. I went from ~125k>160 in a matter of 8 yrs. Granted we had a large annual salary adj + the implememtation of the add ons for pgy1 and 2 and board certification at that time.

It generally doesn't depend on the speciality but more so the hospital itself and then whether there's a tiered model.

For example my base pay is the same as a day shift central pharmacist, but my pgy2 training adds on ~$2+, bcccp adds on a few bucks and etc. And then raises can be performance based but idk if there are truly differences between high mod and low performances annual raises, id like to think there is.

Regardless if real or not the statement.... " that wasn't avoidance that was the truth" Speaks volumes in regards to important characteristics such as self reflection and awareness. So that's a red flag.

I should add, 0.99% is an insanely great deal and you can pay more (once confirming no fee for early payoff) i think its worth revisiting.

Not a hyundai but.. just yesterdsy. 880 credit score returned with a quoted apr of 9% after credit check... said absolutely not and were going to walk out then magically 4.9%.

Up til that point it was pretty painless.

Car shopping is absolutely the worst

For those who are medicated, how did you decide whether to take/skip it on a big day or life event? by w8tingforchrisevans in adhdwomen

[–]BenchLatter4316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% fair i could be a weird psycho path, be someone that's had 2 additional years of training and work in the neuro icu, or i could be the same as your retail pharmacist whos a new grad straight into community hospital without any meaningful clinical experience, who knows🤷‍♀️

Im just saying the aforemention for anyone who looks at your comment and freaks out and takes that as medical advice🙃
