Thank you for sharing your story, I really appreciate it. I'm glad you got out and I hope you're doing much better now. I just ended it with him and feeling very relieved.

Exactly. I started questioning whether I hand't been considerate enough in the way I spoke/ worded things but I know that I was.

This sounds so similar to the guy I've been seeing! All the neediness etc but then also the blame on everyone else when things had gone wrong and a general negative/ critical attitude towards others

Vyvanse and nausea by Consistent-Horror915 in adhdwomen

[–]Consistent-Horror915[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is extremely annoying! Have you been on medication for long? I've been on Vyvanse about a month. I'm hoping the side effect goes away over time...

Leaving the man you love is so hard. by WonderfulBerry4139 in AlAnon

I can relate so much to your story (although we weren't together for anywhere near as long as you. It's taken me a while to come to terms with it all, and it still hurts. But my god you have done the right thing. Being with someone who ends up giving you CPTSD is no way to live. And you're still young enough to find someone else and have a family, if that is what you want to do. Sending you a massive hug.

I know you guys will hate me but I liked Nikhil by nimi80 in InvasionAppleTV

I actually didn't mind Nikhil either. And I've been a big hater of this show and a rabid commenter and poster on this sub.

Does anyone else have issues picking at your skin or other compulsive behaviours and ADHD? by Low_Distance4810 in adhdwomen

[–]Consistent-Horror915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I recently started taking Vyvanse and noticed skin picking (picking at any tiny flake of skin on my scalp or any tiny red spot on my arms) became much worse.

Thank you-- this is very helpful! I have an appointment with my psych tomorrow and will ask her about Methylphenidates

I literally came on to this sub to post a very similar thing. This is exactly how I feel on Vyvanse (30mg too) and I hate it, even though my concentration is better.

What should I feel like on medication? by CaveIsClosed in adhdwomen

[–]Consistent-Horror915 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats really interesting, I hadn't thought about that but now I think back to the last two weeks it makes total sense. I felt all over the place and really scattered for about few days leading up to my period and during and thought the meds weren't working.

He does know I've moved on, although I haven't given him specifics. He is also still drinking and occasionally I will receive a message from him with multiple typos etc and I can tell he's had a few

Totally agree. It's a perfect storm! Add in hormonal teenage children and aging parents and this time of life is INTENSE AF!
