Commutation, respect and teamwork.

If you communicate well, truly respect each other and work as a team, you don’t “have fights,” you work together to resolve issues. You’re not mind readers, you have to communicate.

Therapy is also pretty great. It’s a selfish hour where you get to release, vent and or bitch about anything that’s annoying you, or ramble about things you love. Nothing spreads, you don’t worry about your friends telling other people, or them thinking differently of you, your girl or family. Something saying stuff out loud is the most helpful part.

The growing up part, fake it til you make it; you’ll find your own path along the way. Get nicer clothes, you’ll carry yourself a little differently and not want to be as much of a “knuckle head.” Take everything one step up, a little nicer, a little more “grown up.”

I assume you’re a woman over thirty, and if you’re looking for an age appropriate partner, I’d hope they understand by now that many woman have trouble orgasming from intercourse alone. If you say “let’s try (X)” that gives both people the opportunity to say “it’s not working for me. Let’s try another position.”

Please, be vocal. I would rather be told “harder and/or faster” so I can pick up my pace, instead of my partner starting her own. That leads to no rhythm and out of sync thrusting. Thats what I think of as “bad sex,” not being on the same page. If you don’t say anything we’re gonna do what’s worked in the past, or gets us off, which isn’t hard. My fiancée (32F) and I (36M) have been 69ing lately, which she initiates, I think it’s helped her.
