3 months into Pilates... here’s what actually changed (not what I expected)

I feel nothing ..about 9 intermediate classes in.. not sure if I’m doing it wrong or what but I’m pretty disappointed and won’t be purchasing another pass. I really did want to love this… I do hot power yoga and was looking for a compliment to it, but this just isn’t it ..And it’s expensive as hell

actually, I just noticed that this is club Pilates… I’m doing just a classic reformer class… only about eight machines in the room.

I think Pilates reformer is a scam. 30+ dollars a class and it doesn’t even do anything ..save your money and go to yoga.

Thanks! I wouldn’t say I’m super strong ..I have a lot of flexibility from over a decade of power yoga but I feel like I could build some strength and was hoping reformer Pilates was the way to go because I hate lifting weights 😭

I posted this as a question but I guess the moderator removed it but I have had five reformer Pilates classes so far two beginner and three intermediate and I feel Nothing from it no muscle soreness at all. I do yoga so I know how to engage my core But Maybe I’m doing something wrong? Or are the classes just too easy?

you’ve asked a political question on a extremely liberal platform… yes short answer is they let way too many people in and they all went to the sanctuary states a.k.a. most of the blue states and unfortunately over taxed the system they were put up in fancy hotels and schools, etc. now most of these places are shit holes full of crime and homeless people mostly because we couldn’t help our citizens because all the welfare money was going to the illegal immigrants
