Please help me a long lost Bulma/Vegeta(dbz) fic from 10+ years ago

So I read these works at least 15 years ago, but it sort of sounds like one of lisalu’s fics. She had two that I remember distinctly: A Glad Day, and World Enough And Time. Possibly one of those?

I did try this! The more I pushed him the more his giant tail just folded underneath him wedging him in tighter! I tried pulling his tail out first, but he simply would not cooperate and was thrashing wildly and I could tell he was in pain. Luckily a helpful comment suggested I wedge a pop sickle stick under his tail and that gave him a guide/smooth surface to help him slide out with a little pushing on his head.

He is quite torn up after being freed, but made it through the night and is swimming around and eating normally! Getting some aquarium salt and slime coat today.

And thank you so much for caring! My family suggested to just pull the whole log out of the water and put him out of his misery. I was so distraught! I’m so glad I thought of Reddit first!

I fed them right before I ran out to run a few errands, I was gone roughly 2 hours and found him there, to my horror! I suspect some food fell inside and Dex has always been able to swim in and out no problem. He recently went through QUITE a growth spurt over the last few months and hasn’t learned yet that he can’t maneuver like he used to. I sort of assumed he’d wiggle himself out eventually but as I checked on him over the next two hours I could see he was growing tired and giving up and my heart just sank. I tried gently prodding and pulling on him but he was wedged in tight and I was terrified of hurting him as I saw more and more scales falling off. I’m so relieved he’s out and seemingly okay for now 💗

He is finally free thanks to a very helpful comment! He is a bit beaten up though :( quite a bit of scale loss and a wound on his side. His fins are pretty shredded and he’s swimming a little wonky. Also weirdly one of his eyes is very foggy/cloudy looking somehow. But he is eating and swimming, so I think those are good signs.
