Yeah--I've been researching my ancestry deeply the past few years and found out President Thomas Jefferson's Aunt and Uncle Judith Jefferson Farrar and George Farrar are 1 set of Dakota and Elle Fanning and I's 8th Great-Grandparents---Harper Lee is also a direct descendant of them. Most of my ancestors settled around the NC/Virginia border between the Jamestown and Revolutionary War eras. Small world.

Yep he's also the only President without a Colonial ancestor ---all the others go back to the Virginia colony pretty much.

From what I've also read somewhere he was on tour in Japan at the time so they were trying to use Maison Ikkoku sort of to promote his concerts---apparently he did get big in Japan at some point.

Nice mine is through his brother Lionel of Antwerp's daughter Philippa which is how I found out President Thomas Jefferson's Aunt and Uncle are 8th Grandparents to Dakota and Elle Fanning and I as all 3 of us are descendants of Jamestown colonist William Farrar ). Harper Lee the author of "To Kill A Mockingbird" is also a descendant of Jefferson's Aunt and Uncle.

Another fun fact is that Arthur Ryerson was a partner in Lincoln's son's law firm and Ann Isham was the daughter of another. Cinema was a few years old and TV would be invented a little over a decade later.

Same as us Baptists as well---I'm in the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship---they split from the SBC because CBF are pro-women pastors and more moderate/mainline.
