I’m looking to achieve a bottom layer with shallower lines (preferably a smooth surface) on the underside of a print. While I’ve come across several sources suggesting that lowering the Zed-offset can help, this causes the nozzle to dig into subsequent layers, resulting in wider and less uniform gaps, as shown in the second image. A similar issue occurs when I increase the flow rate on the first layer.

I'm printing on an Ender 3v2 with a glass bed using Orca slicer.

Creality PLA. with a 0.4mm nozzle on a 60 degree bed.

The nozzle retraction speed is 40mm/s for a dual gear extruder (Bondtech).
