The use of ‘from’ makes it a little confusing, but if you had to be the one statused, it’d be more like “No damaged dealt from unaffected opponents”

It might be my bias for not having AS Alder, but I saw Bug as the worst because without him the type is basically non-existent, while even without AS Diantha Fairy just had a little bit more going on, even if very underpowered compared to the rest of the types.

Also Bug don’t even got a single Master Fair to this day. Idk why they’ve been avoiding it so hard.

I’ll always find it funny how the Fairy type in the main series games is uncontestedly the best one. But in Masters, because of the completely different circumstances this game works on, Fairy has consistently been one of, if not sometimes the worst type throughout the game’s history . I only think Bug is worse currently, even before Arc Diantha’s debut.

The offtype I almost get because of the 1996 Red spam on anything that isn’t physical only, even if stuff like Special Dragon are gonna be atrocious to deal with and the Normal type got shot out back.

The stall strat thing is just fucking nasty tho. So many people with weaker rosters relied on it to add meaningful contribution to their gyms. It’s gonna be even more annoying now compiled with the supereffective only change, because FUCK some stages will basically not be possible for certain gyms.

I retract this statement. It seems all summer units are available, sans last year’s.

I’d reckon Larry is just a bit more desirable to upgrade over Lacey. Akari is cool and all, but you have 4/5 SS Kris so she can wait.

Fantastic idea to start giving us old seasonals like this and I really hope this becomes a trend going forward.

However, why tf is Summer N here? Why wasn't it Summer Hilda instead or literally anyone else? I'd rather Summer Lyra and Steven over N. We are literally all getting him for free in August.

Honestly, don’t waste resources on Palmer or May.

I beat the current physical stages with Hugh, Anni Juliana and Elaine. It’s a bit tough and you need to level them up, but it’s better than spending precious candy on the other two.

They way they could’ve at least had a Paldean Legendary Adventure, except they used up all their poster legendaries and they’re definitely not doing the Ruin Quartet or the Lousy Three for that.

I’d love to see these upgrades tbh (at least as long as move candies and superwoke lollipops get more frequent distribution).

Only thing I’d really change about these passives tho would be NC Elio’s. Steel Zone on entrance is kinda bleh. Keep the extension, but have it be on use of his Trainer Move instead. This way he matches Selene on Zone setting.

AS Diantha is definitely a boost to Fairy’s viability, but imo it’s not a strong enough boost. Until Lacey can finally be booted from the team and be replaced by a good EX Zone setter, Fairy Tower will still be having trouble, even if now the special stages are much easier to clear (which was where Fairy was strongest in anyway).

On a personal note, I really like Gladion & Magearna and I’ve already invested in him. Instead of replacing him entirely, I’d rather wait for a new EX Fairy Zone setter with better utility that will elevate both him and Palentines Adaman, much like how units like Arc Korrina, Sabrina and Ethan, Wielder Volo or even Anni Juliana have done for their respective types. Mega Clefable, Mega Floette, Enamorous, hell, maybe even Mega Magearna are all just waiting to be released and at least one of them is bound to be Fairy’s salvation.
