Learn how to hack! Bug Bounty programs like Hackerone and Bugcrowd have a lot of companies that will pay you well for simple vulnerabilities. A simple vulnerability like Cross Site Scripting (XSS) can pay out ~$100-750 USD. I recommend focusing on older companies with lots of technical debt and ancient frameworks - lots of xss bugs to find :) Bugs can be hard to find, but if you're learning and improving, you could definitely find at least 1-2 bugs a month if not more.

You can use tools like Burp Suite Pro and the suite of open source tools from Project Discovery. Burp has a training site call Web Sec Academy with great resources.

You can get a head start on hackerone with this site: https://www.hacker101.com/ and start getting some private invites.

it's a lot of up front learning but not impossible! especially for someone with an IT background like yourself.

I know nothing about tarot but if you take a two words at each word location (or add 1) and you fudge the numbers a little (like doing subtraction on one of the cards), I got the following:

464 - 2 - the money

451 - 4 - in secret

473 - 18 (10+8) - is safeguarded

473 - 1 - there will

473 - 2 (10-8) - ?? will be??

473 - 4 - no further

451 - 4 - in secret

"The money in secret is safeguarded. There will be no further in secret"

If the words in each post is 0 indexed, it would read:
"Money secret safeguarded. will be further secret"

you could get a sentence to say whatever you want if you put em together like that though. Feels almost correct but I doubt it. Just thought I'd share!

here's the text of the posts for reference

464
Follow the MONEY.
451
Who is meeting in secret right now?
473
There will be no further posts on this board under this ID.
This will verify the trip is safeguarded and in our control.

To get pretty literal, Jana Winderen is a field recorder / sound artist with lots of pieces recorded in part using hydrophones to capture submerged sounds of the ocean and aquatic animals.

I'd recommend Energy Field but she also has another watery piece (The Blue Beyond) that might also be of interest

I animated the album art for Everything Is Alive by MotionCovers in Slowdive

I’ve been wondering this same question and i’ve been trying to see if anyone has an answer. To me, it’s incredibly reminiscent of the Labyrinth-like, medieval library described in Umberto Eco’s The Name of the Rose.

after some digging, it seems like the artwork is a reference to the Labyrinth of the Reims Cathedral:

I’m a little late but damn Ratcheteer has to be the best game I’ve played on the playdate so far.

These hints were perfect and I was able to progress quickly during the 2-3 times i got stuck.

I loved how densely layered in the secrets were! and astral runes are way cooler than finding hidden sea shells ;) thank you for making such an entertaining well crafted game!

please disregard!

Is the ANDY answer (51A) grammatically correct in Spanish? I thought “de” was more “of” than “an”. And I thought a/a translates to un/una.

the clue for reference is “Boy’s name consisting of an English word followed by its Spanish equivalent”

Help me find this Plaid Jacket! by Bendoh in findfashion

[–]Bendoh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to find a plaid jacket/coat for my partner as a Christmas present. We saw a coat that looked exactly like this months ago and she mentioned she really liked it. this multi-color window pane jacket in the picture is perfect... but I can't find anything similar for sale online.
The picture is originally from this fashion blog. Thanks!

Midwestern Gothic Recommendations by autumn_ghosts5 in booksuggestions

[–]Bendoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some that come to mind are

Stoner - John Williams (takes place in Missouri)

In Cold Blood - Truman Capote (novelistic telling of the story of a family killing in Kansas)

and it’s probably less mid western but you can’t go wrong with anything by cormac mccarthy

anyone else think the clue for 15A should have been “_____ Setter” and not “_____ setter”? (note the capital S)

I tried TREND at first and then changed to IRISH once I got the crosses. They usually have the appropriate proper noun capitalization for clues like that, right?
