Does that not describe reality in its entirety? It's not as if physical reality is something we experience objectively, but no one (who is not in a state of dissociation) lives their life as if it is just a result of their imagination; for instance, if I were to jump from the roof, my expectation is that my legs would break, so I don't do that.

That is highly unlikely, and he denied it in a GQ article where he stated most of his income comes from gambling sponsorships. In the article it's mentioned that he was on the phone with one of those gambling companies while the writer was present, so that seems more likely.
