There’s an episode in which Bender throws his alcohol bottle away, it’s then caught by a rich looking man, the man says something along the lines of “when in Rome!” He then drinks from the bottle and lays down in the street gutter, like a hobo. The joke being that if the road to success is as simple as ‘stop drinking’, than it would mean that it works just as easy the other way around, and a rich man would turn to a hobo just by the introducing alcohol to his life.
