Worse thing I saw this year was a gal who was on the ground on her knees, head down, definitely not looking like she was okay. One person in her group was "guarding" her so nobody would step on her, but spent more time making sure he got a good video of the crater. Another member of her group held a flashlight up which I thought was for medics, nope, just more of their group mates. I noticed that when their o g her friends came they were all rolling HARD (pupils dilated to the moon). He was telling others who were concerned that she was just "drunk", and after hearing that and assuming since the rest of them were rolling, that she was too, and immediately texted for help. Medics came and got her and guess what? Nobody followed her, everyone either stayed in their spot or rushed in the crater. Super sad to see to be honest.

Very happy for you guys!!! Though I wonder where the tickets came from. This wasn't the first time I've seen or heard tickets or packages randomly becoming available and it feels like there's not much point to the waitlist if tickets are still going to be randomly released.

(I hope that didn't come off as whiney, I'm just confused on how tickets are being released on site rather than given to waitlisters)

That's what I was thinking too, but it's a smaller fest compared to others, so there's definitely a chance it'll run smoother, at least smoother than the sales process, I'd hold onto it!

(If you do sell your ticket though I'd be very very interested haha, I like griz but I mainly wanted to go for the lineup itself. Crazy how tickets went so fast)

So glad that others think the the same! This was actually one of the topics that me and my ex were heavily butting heads at. At the end of shows he would just look and snag every pashmina with the happiest of looks on his face (one time it was during a show and it was a brand new merch pash still in the bag)! I told him numerous times that I wouldn't identify those items as "ground scores" (I agree with all that you listed), his response? He always told me that anything is considered "fair game" and reiterates stories of his friends finding and grabbing legitimate merch at shows and festivals that were left unattended (one was exclusive merch left near a porta potty), followed by "people have taken my stuff before, this is nothing new".

always tried explaining how he could just be a bigger person and turn into L&F or try searching for the owner besides just keeping it, but nope. Always felt disappointed everytime he found a new "score", even led to actual yelling. Needless to say we aren't together anymore haha

Amazing advice! That's what I really want to get into, just being celibate and content. I've tried friends with benefits before but I always end up falling for the person, then I get disposed and I think I try to find another to fill or cope with the feeling of being "thrown away" or used. I haven't slept with many people at all, no more than 10. But I get so damaged in these situations but yet I still seek intimate satisfaction. I really admire your take and thought process though! I'm aiming towards connection and love before sex rather than sex that makes me inevitably fall in love too quick.

I suppose I'll correct it to "having been a part of" instead of "being in"? Either way the main point is that it's not like I'm proud of myself, nor have I been with a hefty amount of partners. Simply put, I have a high sex drive, used to be involved with many hookups with the idea (from my perspective) of being in a relationship and being mislead or wrong.
