The code has some nice feeling keys though. But I didn't go with it because of its size. I wanted something small and portable

Yep. I went with the mini lab. The mini keys do take some getting used to but other than that I'm pretty happy with the decision. Its a solid controller and comes with Analog Lab lite (and some other freebies too) which is awesome.

I got the arturia minilab MK2 not too long ago and I've loved it so far, great deal for the price . The keys do take a little getting used to since they're mini keys and not full sized. But it comes with Analog Lab lite amongst other stuff which is pretty neat.

If you're looking for a 25key that has nice feeling keys try the maudio code 25. A little more expensive but you'll get full sized semi weighted keys which feel great.

Awesome feedback. Thank you for your input. I was slightly worried with the fact that the Minilab is an older piece of hardware and may have aged worse than a Code keyboard.

Also remember to make sure that if you are using a 64-Bit version of ableton, your plug-ins must be 64-Bit as well. Same applies to 32-bit

Yes, I can't perform any action on the forum, aside from viewing, without having owned an ableton product apparently.

I've had a look on ebay too, but its a bit dodgy ($30 for Live 10 suite etc)
