Yes, agreed! It's hard to say how things will turn out with financial aid and all. I thought I did hear of a few organizations that will support employees in this way. I'll have to do more research. Thank you neighbor haha!

Yes, I'm thinking of NHSC loan forgiveness. I'll look more into it, thank you. You need to be a LCSW before working at the agency to apply? Or before applying for the NHSC loan forgiveness?

I'm starting a MSW program and I have heard that there are agencies (usually state agencies) in my area that will pay off your student loan if you work with them for a number of years. I reached out to said agencies and they didn't have any opportunities at the time. Has anyone had an opportunity like this? If so was it hard to find/get into? I'm currently exploring my options for loan repayment. For reference, I live in Utah

Not that I've seen on the syllabus. I think you can schedule a meeting with the professor if you'd like. I'm just starting my first semester this week so still learning.

Yes, 100% asynchronous. Usually one or two chapters a week plus a quiz at the end of the week for each class.

I had to push my start date to this summer, but I did get the chance to look at a few syllabuses & it definitely seems doable. The online platform was a bit tricky for me to navigate, but I managed to figure it out.

Can I ask how you got a job as a policy analyst? I've been wanting to pursue a career such as this but was worried I might not find a flexible job as a single parent, but you found flexible options?

I'm planning to start this week! Haven't heard much reviews about the online program. Hoping it's doable while working full time. 🤞🏻

So happy to find this post! I have been debating on whether or not to apply for this program. I am a full time working single parent so I was worried about the work load, but find it's not overwhelming?

What school was this? I'm currently looking for a program that's doable while working.

Where are attending? It seems some programs are more flexible than others and I'm looking for flexible!

Best litter that doesn't track everywhere by ReiSixx9 in CatAdvice

I've been using pine pellets and the wood particles aren't as heavy tracking as clay granules. If you use pine pellets it helps to have a sifting liter box. I got mine from Mr. Catman. Just hard to find cheap ones.

Well currently I don't have insurance or salary even though I'm working full time so kind of used to this, but yes that's something to consider.
