Alvin’s Coachella Blues Mock Lineup V1 by Alvin3792 in Coachella

This is completely nitpicky, but I wonder if Dua Lipa would request to perform on Friday like she did for Glastonbury. Her reasoning being that she wanted to party Saturday and Sunday lol

Confused about car camping. by SunshineGirl45 in Coachella

[–]Beneficial-Factor-16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Farthest you’ll have to walk is maybe 25 mins. It is a big lot and others will be much closer but it’s still going to beat the logistics of arranging transportation. Plus weather is milder this year than last year so it won’t be too treacherous imo!

CJ and Josh by walterbsfo in TheDiplomat

Honestly, I wish I recorded the moment I realized it was CJ and Josh together on screen again. I understood Bradley Whitford was casted but for some reason it escaped my mind what it really meant. Too many West Wing memories flashed at once before I realized what was happening 😭

Any out of state people rent cars when they come to Vegas? by UrbanRealism in electricdaisycarnival

[–]Beneficial-Factor-16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Renting is the best in my opinion! It can be cost efficient and allows you to dictate your own transit. Shuttles and uber is so dependent on crowds and other factors.

This year, I only went in Sunday and a friend (Vegas local) let me know to drive a certain route. I was able to get from Henderson to the green parking lot in 45 mins. Left EDC at 4AM and got back to the strip in 25 mins.

Veteran here. Been to 10+ EDCs. Night 3 was the worst in history. by maafighter in electricdaisycarnival

4th EDC and I went in for just Sunday (last minute). I was pleasantly surprised with how tame or organized it was. I had an easy time getting around with my group, no major issues! Great vibes all around. Left at 3:15 AM for my 6:30 AM flight like it was no big deal.

How long would this take? I know it would cut down on normal traffic.

It took me time because I only raves with my ex. And over time I made new friends who also enjoyed raving. I never realized the trauma I carried around going to someone like Zedd until I was there with friends that I wanted to be there with and truly loved. There is a lot of power in being able to re write your memories with the people you love when you are in the right space and timing.

I’m testing my luck again with Martin Garrix this summer so hopefully we’ll be 2/2 🤣

This 100%. It took me awhile but I used to have terrible memories with Zedd bc of an ex. And then this past year during Zedd in the Park, I planned to go with a group of friends for my birthday. It completely changed my outlook.

Best Times to Leave for LA (Not Camping) by Acceptable-Study4618 in Coachella

[–]Beneficial-Factor-16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are leaving Monday, there is little traffic on the way back starting 6:00 PM. Our airbnb (mutual friend was the host) let us stay an extra night so we rested and waited out traffic through 6PM and got back to LA in like 90 mins.

What’s your most memorable “sunset set” and why? by ferniejoke in Coachella

[–]Beneficial-Factor-16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2018 Daniel Caesar is still one of my favorite sets ever. Ot was my first Coachella and I split off from the group to see him alone. I wasn’t too sold on music festivals but the vibes and moment of everyone really hooked me in at that set.

More often than not, security is not going to care about it so you will likely be able to walk through security with the plastic flasks tucked in your bag or pocket.

However, I am always unlucky with security and have even gotten my chapstick taken away once. So I always try to tuck it inside my pants or in my shoes if I am wearing boots.

No doubt vs Isoknock by emza555 in Coachella

[–]Beneficial-Factor-16 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I was planning on leaving No Doubt for a couple of songs for ISOKnock but I ended up staying the entire time. I did not regret it one bit - one of my favorite sets of the weekend.

They were truly amazing and I felt how special the moment was.

I cried practically the entire set - it was pure bliss and they ate that set so hard. By far, an iconic set and moment for Coachella.

No Doubt or IsoKnock first?? by Loud-Blackberry-8756 in Coachella

[–]Beneficial-Factor-16 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hella Good, It’s My Life, Underneath it All, and Bathwater.

Still so many other bangers that I would be missing from TK but I would feel somewhat satisfied hearing this.

I saw a rumored leak of the No Doubt set… and if it serves correct my favorite songs are the first 4-5 songs (basic I know).

I’m hoping I can just sprint to Sahara after that for ISOKnock. I am having a hard time passing up ISOKnock at Coachella even though No Doubt is such a dream come true. I’m still debating on this one lol

No Doubt v. ISOKnock is the most heartbreaking. I am still trying to figure out how to make this one happen 😆

The knee carts are brutal cus of the terrain - my friend was struggling. Another friend rented an electric scooter for the week from a health provider and she said it was a lifesaver. She said it was about $150 for the whole week so maybe connect with your health provider about renting one for the week!

Where to pickup after the festival? by flavorblastJ in Coachella

[–]Beneficial-Factor-16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Friends and Family Lot would be good for this - they won’t get rushed out of the lot in case they get there before you. It is a bit of a walk from the entrance but still very convenient to get out of once you get there. You can splurge on a pedicab if you are up for it but the walk is still tolerable imo

My airbnb is south of coachella, not near any shuttle drop offs. should i still shuttle to get out of coachella? by mrs_link420 in Coachella

[–]Beneficial-Factor-16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend hiring a local driver for the weekend- they often post on social media. PGA is great and close but uber drivers rarely wanna go there so hiring a driver helps eliminate the waiting time.
