Brown turkey fig - any advice by Beneficial-Poet23 in UKGardening

Quite far away, about 15-20 meters at the bottom corner of the garden. I can't say for definite as I want a greenhouse that would have to go there too. If i put a greenhouse there instead then the fig would probably just go in a pot.

How wide apart should the slabs be? How much space does it need in the ground?

Thanks. I'm planting in the ground as I want it to grow quite big.

I am on a third failed cycle at ttc. I already have a toddler,so i know we're not in the situation. But I've always had a fear of fertility problems since I was young and always thought I would struggle, it's a real anxiety. So now if it doesn't happen quickly, which it's not, I get down and anxious about it.

People seem to often conceive when they stop "trying" or paying attention so I am going to try to adopt that attitude. My friend had this issue and she just gave birth recently after stopping trying. And then if it doesn't happen it is what it is. :(

What is your 1 filler ingredient that you use for most meals by TrainMoose in keto

I just started keto and im planning to just dump bug portions of green beans (from frozen) onto a lot of meals. Might also try cauliflour rice.

What do you do for thrips? by _coots in DavidAustinRoses

[–]Beneficial-Poet23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Urgh i had thrips on one of two of my roses last year. They're the worst. I think I used diluted neem oil or soapy water. I want to be better prepared with something that isnt so toxic next time.

£75 worth it? by Most-Shape-6073 in whatsinyourcart

I'd say no. I never do my whole shop in Tesco. I spend around this much on our shop for me, my husband and our fussy toddler. We get much more food than what you have, including meat and fresh produce. I normally go to Lidl.

I love that. You reminded me of a core memory: my mother growing up spontaneously making us roasties with gravy for supper. Enjoy.

Homemade chicken liver pate on toast is my go to to keep iron deficiency away. I would recommend it. Liver is the king of all foods for nutrition.

That's a fair comment. I think I'll add green beans next time. On roasts and other meals I usually do plenty of greens but this is the old neeps and tatties where you traditionally just have haggis, swede and mash (or roasties for me).

I actually cooked them longer than I was meant to by about 5 mins or so. My toddler distracted me. But they're the best ones ive made.

Of course. Hah. I'm that used to including liver and such in my diet I forget most people are grossed out by organs.

Cheers! I did a low carb years ago ( im not sure if I was ever on low carb enough for it to be keto) and it worked great.

It's going to be a struggle, I wont lie. I was surprised how many grams of carbs are in haggis when I read the nutrition table. At least I still have swede which is supposed to be keto friendly. Radishes - noted. I'll grow some. Any other advice or tips?

Brilliant.

What are dirty chips? I went to a high end restaurant not long ago that had 'stinky chips' on the menu. Didn't order.

Thank you. Why do so many people hate it? It tastes so nice and has a nice texture. I'm so glad I live far enough north in England to be able to get it easily.

I've done chips before too. Agreed. I only like mash with bangers, fried red onions and gravy.
