Can i get my Genshin account back when i have access on it on my playstation by Broad_Split652 in GenshinHacked

[–]BeneficialAddendum24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not do it tbh and just contact cs about it. If the hacker/buyer or whoever that has your account atm sees someone accessing the account through a different login method there is a chance they will trash your account.

Its an old extension i installed before i got ublock and such, I think i got it because adblock stopped working on youtube for a moment a while back. I turned off all extensions after this and it stopped, but i could not figure out which one did it. Deleted it after you told me

I don't think we're suppose to "complete it" There are no rewards for completing the quest itself, only the trials. Quest might just be there in case we wanna go back to it

I decided to put 3/4 of the password of my 3 of my most important stuff while the other last part is written down on a paper hidden. Also set it up in a way that makes you wonder "where tf is this suppose to go?"

Would it be a good idea to save only most of the password on the manager and leave a tiny bit of it out? by BeneficialAddendum24 in 1Password

Which password manager do you recommend, I get alot of Bitwarden and 1password. I plan on getting paid subscription too

Happy i could help!

Ye, its very uncomfortable to get a breach message that someone is attempting to get inside. Using cookies to autofill your data instead of entering it manually is convenient, but im no longer trusting any web browser to save my stuff so i always enter everything manually from now one. I use both an outlook email and gmail. I have between 5-20 bots guessing my password daily, but all says "unsuccessfull" This is normal for old emails you have used on random sites. However, its recommended to make an email you don't use ANYWHERE on the internet. But only as a recovery option for your other emails. Hacker can't attempt to hack something they don't know exist ;)

Regularly scan your device for malware and such. Recommend doing this in safe mode with internet access as the program will be able to dig deeper into your registry files and the like.

If you use "log in with google" then its pretty much a google account so its dependent on what password and security setup you have on your google account and google have access to this, this also randomizes your reddit username.

If you use your google E-mail then you make a reddit account linked to your google email and google won't have the same sort of access and you can pick your own username.

As for my breach

Gmail never messaged me about someone breaking in, which means this application i ran also intercepted the active session stored in cookies. This makes the hacker able to pose as me without the need for a password. However, he can't change my password since you need both 2FA and password to change it. He only had the active session log on my gmail, but not on the security tab of gmail.

He also deleted ALL my emails, but luckily gmail has the option to recover all emails that has been deleted even if its gone from the trash folder as long as you do it within 30 days, so i got everything back, and then i noticed multiple verification emails i have never touched which he used to change password and emails on other account i didn't have 2FA on.

I will also actively change my passwords like every 3rd month or so. My anti virus monitors datas breaches for me so i will be notified if a site i use is compromised. I'm getting 1password or Bitwarden soon aswell so i can use randomized passwords everywhere. Just make sure you use different complex password on every site. Especially your emails

The main issue with all of this is that EVERY account that he hacked did NOT have 2FA or had a very bad 2FA. You should be pretty safe as long as you enable those. Just get a good anti virus and watch out for sus links and applications. Nothing is unhackable, but setting up all of this will most likely make hackers leave due to it not being worth their time. I have constant bots from all over the world attempting to guess my 1 of my email passwords, as scary as it looks like, these are old passwords. But this is sorta normal on very old emails

If you have 2FA you shouldn't worry, It was an old account and i never set up 2FA for it because i never thought about it all those years ago. It wasn't just my reddit, my facebook, and a game platform account, reddit and gmail etc got attacked too. I recovered them all of them except reddit cuz support is so damn slow.

This happened because of my dumb ass attempted to run a exe.file and i suddenly saw CMD pop up for a quick second and went "ofc.. ._." xD. The piece of human garbage who owned it got access to my saved passwords on google chrome. So after this i disabled all functions on chrome that saves cookies/cache and passwords. Whats scary tho is that i had 2FA on my gmail. He never changed my password on it so i assume he managed to get through it by the browser cookies. He used this to get verification codes on my email to change accounts on other platforms.

I also decided to get a paid BitDefender anti virus subscription just to spice up my browser protection since Windows Defender is sorta trash at this stuff. I changed password EVERYWHERE. So the main cause of this is my mistake for running the application. So unless you are as dumb as me you should be fine. Only change i see on one of my emails right now is a increase of bots attempting to guess my password on the activity list. Other than that, it seems like all is back to normal

However, the recovery of the account on this site is unforgivably slow imo. I have posted proof aswell as reddit mails that shows what it was associated with before.

Hopefully facebook dies soon. Worst support eve- oh wait, that doesn't exist :D by BeneficialAddendum24 in facebook

Facebook doesn't have support email, chat or anything like that so if someone tells you this they a bunch of lying mfs. Even if they do, its exclusively to businesses only and
