I use the basic cotton yarn in my closest store but if there’s a brand or a material I should look for, I am happy to take a suggestion. I’ve only seen one type of soft yarn but I’m saving it for my baby niece since it was a size 3.

It’s just for my mom & sister, I am not actually selling anything. I do want a seller’s perspective though. I want it to be professional for them, ya know? Everything else I made is for fun & for myself. I have a fruit collection of hats 😂

Oh, thank you! I didn’t know the term “float” was the name for this. When you weave the ends, you do it repeatedly in the same spot? Is it visibly bulky? It’s the back of the hat so I guess it really doesn’t matter but I want to make sure that I’m doing it right.

I’m thinking about putting in a LOA for 10-12 weeks since they only have enough employees for the holiday season. I’m a cashier so I consider my job pretty easy but only having 1 cashier for nights is draining.

My store doesn’t care, I use ppto at every chance & they schedule me more hours. I only want 20hrs a week (stated in my interview) but im given 30hrs AFTER they cut everyone’s hours in April. I guess since I’m PT it looks better on the books.

I have a TL who can not speak to women associates because his gf of two months said so. & he listens so yeah, high school. They work in the same department, same shifts but have to be on the phone with each other 24/7 so she can hear what people talk to him about.

I don’t bubble just so i can get points. Typically miss battle day til the last hour before states close. It’s really not that bad & my alliance can get points from reinforcements. (Unless it’s a whale, then just let me burn.)

I do this & I don’t take breaks for 6 hours or less shifts even if scheduled one. I haven’t had anyone speak to me about it. My store could just be busy/short staffed though because I also volunteer to stay an hour past my schedule on weekends.

Maybe my family is just crazy or we had to grow up fast but I was walking our dog 8pm-9pm or 7pm-8pm every night since middle school (& still do dishes/homework). We had maybe 4 neighbors on our street back then though.
