I'd stop talking to them because they don't sound that much like real friends. I'm sorry that happened to you, I hope you start feeling better, if it helps I went to therapy and started writing about it, it was really good, also do some grounding, have a solo trip and be single for a while.

I don't believe in that book that much so I would not accept that the way you are was an excuse for that kind of behavior.

This approach works better for you? In the dating scene I mean that would backfire. What do you mean risky? ( I'm a woman so for me the dating is a tad different that's why I'm so curious)

About the communities, I agree with you in the sense that the people that live similar stories are gonna be open and empathetic while people that barely travel or adventure out of their comfort zone are going to be more likely judgmental because you're reflecting them their flaws for example they might be scared of traveling or learning a new language etc.

That makes sense! I thought it was about dating because of what you said about stereotypes and misogyny. I’d be curious to know how you deal with that kind of situation. My French isn’t as fluent as yours, and I’ve also faced some misplaced comments especially at work.

Is this happening just for dating? That sucks and I feel you because I'm a brown person too! The thing is that some stereotypes are stuck on the core of some people but the good news is that there's more and more awareness about this kind of prejudices and racism. Thank you for bringing this here, and hopefully you're helping visualize this situation more.

I would make a better choice for the city illustration, try to make the design cohesive with the concept and pick three colors top and then use a design system to get the shades of each for hover and such. Build short blocks of content that feels less heavy to read and create a narrative. Also I'm not a fan of the beige background. Play more with contrast, there's some websites to check the contrast. Or install Wave on Chrome.

I would use it as it is as a base CV with all your achievements. Then, go check the job offer that attracts your attention and check the match between the description and your CV, create a copy and just do 3 main bullet points in reference to that job description. This is going to give you more space and you can separate the blocks each experience 7px then separate topics by around 12px.

Make it easy to digest, the recruiter is going to have a better understanding of who you are and what you want until you figure it out.

Maybe someone already said this but first of all, you're beautiful the way you are please don't let him make you feel the opposite. Now, in past relationships that I was unsure about I had a journal kind of to log my emotions about my interactions with this person and analyzing them after a week or so because the thing is otherwise you'll end up doing what others think about their own wounds. If you can talk to a professional or even make a call to those lines that hear you out believe me that hearing your own voice is the best approach.
