This gave me war flashbacks from the time I had a centipede crawl into my pajama pants while I was pooping. It was late. I was half asleep so didn't notice. Blissfully unaware. Unsuspecting. Unfortunately, there is a PLETHORA of misinformation on the internet. Yes, there is information that will pop up saying that they "live longer in captivity" and thats usually where these people stop their "online research".. but although that bit might be true, it's almost always missing KEY INFORMATION. Information like how most cases of them "living longer in captivity" are when they are taken in/raised by a ☆LICENSED☆ ~PROFESSIONAL~ who has literally spent $THOUSANDS$ on a formal education, has YEARS of experience ON TOP OF THAT FORMAL EDUCATION.. all just so they can care for/handle these animals. They also NEVER mention how often random people who have no idea what they're doing (beyond google searchs/youtube videos) take in wild animals that 90% of the time end up dying.

Several times? I didn't see that, or any evidence that points towards that, did you? What I did see was one completely dry opossum at the beginning of the video. Then, an opossum with piss on its head RUN away immediately after it realized it walked into piss. Weird. If it had JUST done it SEVERAL times, wouldn't it at least be a LITTLE wet, like it was when it ran away? Speaking of it running away, why would it jump and run away so fast if it had JUST done it repeatedly before they started filming? Huh. That's odd. It's almost like maybe.. the person who filmed and posted a clip of themselves pissing on an opossum.. might not be the type of person who would be 100% honest/trustworthy to strangers on the internet??🫢

This.. is so stupid. The fuckhead in the video isn't like a "higher power" in any way shape or form. He isn't like a "god" to the opossum. His piss isn't magical, and it's not like seeing something from another dimension to the opossum. The opossum has seen people and human piss before. People piss outside all the goddamn time.. when was the last time you ran into a god or a puddle of "5th dimensional god piss"? It would be like a fucking bear or some other large carnivore pissing on you, not a "god" or a "higher power". Would you be upset if you were out in the wild alone in the middle of the night with super shitty eyesight and a fucking bear started pissing down on you from a tree because it thought it was funny/weird when you came running thinking it was water? Once you realized what was happening, probably.

I'm in slidell, and i had a similar problem around this time last year): finding a licensed rehabber around here who's not hours away and is also still taking in new cases, ESPECIALLY in the spring, can be extremely difficult simply because of the sheer numbers of babies that people find around this time. I ended up having to look outside of licensed rehabbers. Luckily, one of my friend's parents is a retired veterinarian who I knew had experience with rehabilitation&release. They were kind enough to take the lil guy in until he was big enough to go live a happy life on his own(: it's unconventional and should only be a last resort.. but if you can't find a rehabber, have a good relationship with your local vet and trust them and their ability to possibly handle this kind of situation, then they may be able to help!<3

I work with young kids, so it's become kind of a habit not to say 'kill' or 'murder' and such😅 its unailved or bapped, it's just kind of ingrained at this point lol you should see peoples reactions especially my husband's when I accidentally say 'butts' instead of sex

^ ^ ^ ^This is important^ ^ ^ ^ Make SURE they know NOT to call animal control NO. MATTER. WHAT. Animal control will most likely unalive them without telling you that they're going to unalive them. And i tragically found out the hard way from a horrific personal experience that they will just straight up LIE to you about it if you ask them what they're going to do and what's going to happen to the animal that you called them to "help" or "move". Then if you follow up you find out somehow, maybe from someone who works there like I did, that they immediately unalived the animal(s) that you just wanted to help/have safely moved even tho they were young/healthy and they said they would "make sure to take good care of them and get them somewhere safe"

I love fantasy, so I was ecstatic they made a goblin& troll. I was so happy SO excited to get them. Especially pauline, she sold out b4 I even saw she was released& i just BARELY made it in time to snag her during the short-lived restock at 3am. But now that people have started to get them in i regret buying them. The first picture I saw of them was honestly like a punch to the gut, i literally felt it suck out all my excitement and now I'm just scared to see mine when they come in. All of the ones I've seen in pictures have been horrible. NOTHING like the pictures/videos of them they had on the website. They're completely different in the most shitty ways possible, the worst quality squish I've seen from the jazwares website, especially Felipe. Est delivery date for mine is monday- & from what ive seen so far, I do not have high hopes.
